It had been incredibly difficult for Tisarwat to come into the shop that day. Last night, Lucille had turned back into herself after being a snake for more than a week, and...well...clearly, they had some lost time to make up for. So much so, in fact, that Tisarwat actually had no intention of actually coming in today...she was sure the place would survive...but then she received a call about an emergency and figured at the very least, she should check it out, or else she'd have a much bigger problem on her hands when she came in tomorrow instead...

...or just waited for the weekend...

Of course, when she got to the store, there was no sign of an emergency anywhere to be found, and now that she thought about it, she realized she had no idea who would have actually called her. It definitely wasn't Troy or the annoying vinyl hipster, and she frowned a little as she came to the somewhat unsettling idea that...maybe it had been the store itself.

Not that disturbing to a Radchaai, of course, who was used to considering ships and stations entitities in their own right, especially now that they were liberating them all to be free and sentient beings themselves, but...it was a little troubling if the store was like that and was only just now making it known.

Not to mention that it had absolutely the worst timing.

She would absolutely be leaving early if she could help it, too.

Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty was in a little later today, since she figured Lexi was at the age where she might actually be picking up on Hanukkah and it felt important to make enough of a big deal about it to keep her attention.

And then once she got to work, of course she was going to spend any downtime putting lights up around the bar. It was the holidays, she was going all in.

...and trying to make sure it was less tacky than if Tino got to it first.

Well, the station was still in tact when Buck got back to work. That was always a good thing. He had enjoyed his time home, but was weirdly relieved to be back on the island. He might not be much of a firefighter here, but he was becoming oddly fond of the place.

Now to find where the hell the holiday decorations were stashed around here.

Wanda's Thanksgiving had gone well. It was interesting to see the holiday celebrated up close and personal. Though she was well aware that Tony Stark's Thanksgiving probably couldn't be counted as the typical experience.

Now onto the next holiday to over-decorate for. Wanda was spending her time buying a ton of Christmas lights she could drape all over Jeff.

Given that Thanksgiving had brought out Faye's natural mile-wide slothful streak, it was something of a miracle that she dragged herself into work this Tuesday.

Granted, she was clutching an enormous coffee that she would really prefer no one noticed smelled faintly of bourbon, and granted, she was totally smoking in here, as she would until the day Din actually told her to cut it out. (And even then, there'd be such a fit thrown.)

And granted, 'work,' as pretty much always, meant posting up with a magazine and her feet up on the counter.

But Faye was here, and she really deserved credit for that, okay.

The Devil's Nest, Tuesday Night

Lucifer had been extremely busy last week. And there were some string lights up on the ceiling now, absolutely.

This Tuesday? A bit of the opposite.

He slumped back in a seat in the corner of the lounge area with a big glass of wine and spent most of the evening there.

The Photo Hut - Tuesday

It felt strange to be opening up the Photo Hut when for the first time in a long time she was actually feeling okay and feeling more sure that the decision she’d made to return to Fandom had been the right one. She had been at Fandom for nearly two months and a lot had happened in that time … some of it she couldn’t believe that it had actually happened, that she’d met someone who understood her and hadn’t freaked out when she told him about her past and her powers and had even gone home with her for Thanksgiving.

She was finishing up some administration work for the month so she could send the report to Professor Broom so he could see how the Photo Hut was doing and she noticed there was quite a jump in sales yesterday so once she worked out what had been sold, she made sure to order in more and she also checked to see if there was anything else she needed to order while she was doing the inventory.

Once the report had been sent off, Liz returned her attention back to finishing decorating the store for Christmas and finalising the decorations that she had left to put out, most of it had been finished last week before she left for home but there was still enough to do that it could keep her attention focused for a while.
