Buck had missed all the excitement. He didn't know he missed any excitement yet, so right now he was living in the pre-disappointment stage of it. Just a regular day of nothing happening here at the fire station. He was mostly spending it on the phone, but did get momentarily distracted when he found a tiny present underneath his coffee mug.

Magic Box | Tuesday

Wanda had spent the weekend going from snake to very naked woman, so she was very thankful to wake up in her own apartment this morning, wearing pajamas. If there were any remnants from the party yesterday, Wanda didn't notice it.

She was mostly thankful for the normalcy, and the little present she found in the register. After opening it, she discovered it was one of those little sticky octopuses (octopi?) that you threw against the wall and it walked down by itself.

Caritas- Tuesday

Kitty had spent the day at the zoo. There had been a couple stuffed animals in it for Lexi for putting up with the constant "we'll go tomorrow." It wasn't so much that her kid was going to be spoiled as much as it was a method of desperately trying to balance out all the weirdness Lexi already had to deal with.

Tonight was being spent going back and forth between the bar and the back room, where she and Tino were putting up the tree that would stay up through the New Year's party. She was trying to talk him out of making ornaments out of those mini liquor bottles but honestly it might not be a terrible idea?

Rosa would have never imagined she'd feel so grateful to wake up with a giant pink stuffed dog staring at her from a corner of the bedroom as she had that morning, although, really, just waking up in her bed instead of just careening into consciousness riding her bike up the causeway itself was pretty nice, too.

But since they had managed to get things back to normal again (and, bonus, she got to shoot people doing it, too!), she really needed to get to work. Since the suspect had confessed, the job sort of fell through and went bust. The initial money upfront was a decent chunk of change, sure, but she'd lost out on the rest of it and a good month's worth of work, so she wasn't wasting any time getting back down to the office and seeing if there was anything with potential sitting in her inbox.

And, hey, if she managed to find something quickly, she would secure a good excuse to avoid seeing any of her family over Christmas. It would really be a win/win situation.

Around the Island, Tuesday Morning

Wait. Had it been Friday for four days straight?

Awakened from her time loop-induced stupor, Fandom absorbed the notion her internal clock and the outside clock were not in sync. Even the island remembered nothing of the last few Fridays, but, well. This could not be right.

Hope you didn't have anything in your fridges on Friday that was going to spoil before Tuesday, folks, because Fandom had just raced its way to physical, actual Tuesday, awakening any who had fallen last Friday back to life.

As an apology gift, everyone in Fandom would find small but thoughtful gifts every time they opened a door today, or looked under their pillow, or maybe even raised a glass.

[[ and with that, we're at Tuesday! people who did not remember the last few days will only remember yesterday's Friday and will probably need a moment to adjust to Tuesday, but here we are. ]]

The Photo Hut - Tuesday

The drinking the night before had been a terrible idea, which Liz had known and went along with anyway because she thought maybe that it might have made her feel better or made her feel anything at all and all it had done was made her feel worse because she had spent half the early morning throwing up. It was a combination of the drinking plus the last few days of being in shock on repeat and it had caught up to her.

At first she hadn’t realised the time loop had broken and had gone downstairs to open the Photo Hut as a means for something to do and when she checked her phone and her computer, she noticed that it was Tuesday …

It was Tuesday… so that made her start crying hysterically again, they weren’t in the time loop now … if she were to have another episode now … it would be permanent… everyone who listened to radio now would know what she’d done and they would remember … they would know how dangerous she was … and she knew she wasn’t the picture of emotional stability right now so if they put two and two together …

She took several deep breaths as she tried to control her crying, half collapsing into a sitting position with her back against the front of the counter. She knew she should really call Dr. Lecter or even go to the clinic, that it wasn’t healthy for her to be in this state but she couldn’t think straight - her mind was too confused by the events of the last few days and -

She would get up in a moment but for now she was just going to sit with her arms around her knees and rock back and forward, sobbing into her knees.
