Two days until Christmas, and Steph was determined not to cave and do some last-minute-shopping special or anything around the store, figuring that what with the weird month-long advent stuff and all the risk of being holiday-ed out was very real.

Although she did put a sign up in the front window that said "DICE MAKE GREAT STOCKING STUFFERS, JUST SAYING," because it was true... and put together a nativity scene out of tabletop minis with a cast of various snow and ice based monsters and a white dragon for the angel, with few dice from the loose dice bin for presents.

She was busy sending pictures of the shop decorations to Alex in exchange for pictures of how Alex had decorated the record store, and... maybe missing Haven Springs just a little bit.

Luckily, her repeated futile efforts to figure out where the hell the source of "Feliz Navidad" was saved her from getting sentimental about it or anything.

Fix&Clean Shop- Thursday Morning

 It had been an... interesting.... last few weeks that was for sure. And while Dwight was glad tings were back to somewhat normal on the island, it still really had been a lot. And it all had not really done much to help with the holiday mood.

Dwight was down in the shop trying to stay busy. even though there wasn't much of a spark of inspiration at that moment. So, if anyone came by to find him, they just might find Dwight on the floor of the shop, playing with an energetic and playful pup, and trying to ignore the annoying song that was playing from... somewhere... in the shop.

Were some people annoyed by the music on the island today? Not Annie. Annie would sing along with pretty much any Christmas songs, and this one was a fun one!

"Feliz Navidad!" she sang at Tiny, who immediately moved away from her. (But not far enough to not have to hear Annie or the music she was singing along with, tragically.) "Feliz Navidad! Feliz Navidad, próspero año y felicidad."

All of this performed with the confidence of someone who'd taken four years of high school Spanish, okay.

"Song's everywhere, man. Can't escape it. The island really wants to wish us a Merry Christmas from the bottom of its heart. Goes with the cookies though!"

Stark shook his head, ordered far more Christmas cookies than he really needed to, and took a seat. He might as well listen to the same song in here for a while instead of just in his own apartment.

This was everyone's cue to breathe a sigh of relief that Laszlo had (a) not secretly written this song three hundred years ago and (b) no comprehension of Spanish.

Though what a catchy tune! Perhaps he'd make up a verse or two to go with it, since he didn't understand the lyrics. Something to do with fillies, by the sounds of it.

The Photo Hut - Thursday

When Liz came downstairs to open the Photo Hut she still felt and looked terrible. She had barely slept and hadn’t eaten very much and what little she did eat she couldn’t keep down. Her eyes were still red from crying because she had called Professor Broom last night and had made arrangements to return home for a few days over Christmas and try to get her life back on track after her recent episode and she had tried to explain to Professor Broom what had happened and then had started crying.

It had been like all those years ago when she first came to Fandom and had her first episode after the fire that killed her family, when she had been abducted and experimented on by aliens…that had been only a couple of months since she had moved to Fandom as well.

Professor Broom had been patient and listened to her, he had offered her the chance to move back for good like he had before that there was always a place for her at the BPRD but she hesitated … as much as she had seriously considered the possibility of running back home …the one thing that had stopped her from already doing that was Prompto and she couldn’t do that to him not after everything.

Liz had honestly been tempted to just go straight home and not deal with anything but the fact was that she majorly behind on admin work at the store thanks to the time loop and then everything that had happened since … so her plan was to try and finish as much work as she could before she went home later that afternoon.

She stared blankly at her computer as she tried to respond to emails and work on inventory but she was finding it hard to concentrate.
