With St. Patrick's Day falling (annoyingly) on a Thursday (rude!), Summer wondered if it was sort of in bad taste to still celebrate it today, but you know what? You know what? She was not going to just let one day deprive her of a easy theme for a set of shots and an excuse to wear a cute and thematic ensemble. Honestly, it was just like...pre-gaming your holiday, that was all. Who didn't love a good pre-game?

Honestly, maybe more drinking-centered holidays should last a few days, anyway, to help really get the most out of it, right?

Today was, apparently, the cheese panda's birthday.

Shunsui was actually slightly skeptical about this premise, but who was he to judge? He certainly wouldn't begrudge the fact that it put both Apu and the panda-of-the-hour in a good mood and eager to celebrate, with decorations hung up around the store, party hats being distributed to anyone who would like one, and a cheese cake (not a cheesecake, mind you, but a cake made of cheese) set up near the Squishy machine for people to enjoy.

He was a little more skeptical about the table set up for gifts for people to 'pay tribute' to the panda on his apparent special day, but, hey, to each his own. He certainly wouldn't want to be responsible for figuring out which sort of cheeses that panda would deem acceptable enough as a birthday gift, but he'd always been more of a booze-as-a-gift type of guy, anyway.

Astrid really wasn't sure if she should be concerned or not of the excess amount of grasshoppers in the shop that day. or if this was definitely a 'live and let live, especially since they'll probably be gone tomorrow' sort of thing. She supposed as long as they didn't damage any of the plants or anything, they should be fine, and, really, at this point, she just sort of hoped that some of them would stay still long enough for her to sketch them.

Grasshoppers, it turned out, made for excellent structural and shading studies, and, yet again, she was thinking of a whole set should could do focused around them.

Much though Irene loved a theme, St. Patrick's Day didn't exactly scream sexy. Sure, sure, she'd stuck a few things out prominently on the table near the entrance -- a set of clover-adorned butt plugs, some pairs of panties that leapt right over the 'suggestive' line into 'aggressive' territory. Those contributions, plus as much green lingerie as she could pull from the back, felt like enough.

One of these days, Irene decided she needed to ask someone whether the theming was any fun in bed. People bought these things! And Irene wasn't judging -- really, she might need a set of those knickers for herself -- but she did wonder how much the novelty of it all tended to come into play.

Since it was spring, Illyana decided she was going to spring-ish things.

Which is why she had bundles of fresh flowers at the counter with her, as her fingers wove them into garlands to string up around the store, weaving spellwork into them to 1) keep them fresh and 2) enhance the protective charms within them.
