The Magpie Emporium, Friday (4/29)

Anyone who'd visited The Magpie Emporium before would notice some pretty significant changes if they happened to walk in today. The comics, for example, had been replaced with racks of photoshopped art featuring various Fandom Island residents. Don't worry, though, all of the NSFW art (and there was a lot of it) was tucked into clearly-labeled folders, so any minors who happened to wander in wouldn't see it. Unless, you know, they were capable of opening up a folder.
There were racks of t-shirts with catchphrases (did you know you had a catchphrase? because you do now!) emblazoned on them. Also ship names. Because who wouldn't want to walk around in a shirt that just said "CLITTY" on it? Though if geeky shirts weren't your thing, there were plenty of shippy glitter flags.
And plushies. So many plushies. Raccoons, squirrels, gremlins, teal deer, fuzzy fish, you name it.
Custom Funko pops took up a large section of one wall- there were the regular versions as well as shirtless, because of course there were shirtless versions. Another section sported various sculptures made out of tiny rum bottles.
Near the register there was a rack of novelty greeting cards- but there were no "happy birthdays" or "thank yous" here- it was more "Sorry I missed your birthday, I was a can of spray cheese" "That wasn't me, that was my twin I didn't know about before last weekend", etc.
And of course, of course there was the Fandom Cookbook, Third Edition.
Lest you think the entire store had been changed, though, that wasn't quite true. There were still plenty of dice to be found. It's just that all of these dice were named after Fandom residents past and present. Haven't you always wanted a set of Lee Adama-inspired dice?
The Magpie Emporium (Biggest Fan Edition) was open for business!
[OOC: Steph won't be in today, but
craftalong, who wrote this post, has pinged in and the fan pop-up shop is open!]
