It was a hot day out today. Did Miguel care? Not one bit. He was still drinking his coffee. And when that was done, he made the specials board.

The cook gave him a side-eye.

"What? It's not like it can be that much hotter back there."

The Park- Saturday Afternoon

Connor was still getting used to the island and while the odd and unusual was actually pretty normal for him, there was a unique flavor of odd about this place that he was excited to really get to understand. But that was for later. Right now, he and Rex were at the park. Connor has his camera in hand and was snapping pictures of the local flora and fauna he saw, getting the base for what would (hopefully) become and interesting report on the island.

He snapped a few pictures of some flowers he was pretty sure were just common water lilies on the pond, but he knew first hand how looks could be deceiving so he was being as thorough as he could with documenting what he found. He logged a few notes into his phone and then glanced up as Rex swooped by overhead.

"Having fun there Rexy?" he called out. "Don't go wandering off too far ok, mate? And don't eat too many of the local insects just yet alright? I fed you a big breakfast already" he reminded the little green dragon.

JGOB - Saturday Morning

It had felt like it had been a while since Liz had stopped by the bakery and since Prompto was going to be busy with the wedding and the road trip and couldn’t come visit her this weekend, she thought she’d try and spend sometime out of the apartment to keep her busy and distracted, even if she was already missing Prompto despite the fact that she had stayed with him last weekend.

She decided to order a mint chocolate cake and found a seat by the window where she was trying to not spend every few minutes looking at her phone in case there happened to be a message.
