The troopers were all huddled around a laptop when Diego came in today. Naturally, Diego pushed his way through to see what they were snickering at.

Ah, of course. They managed to find pictures of him looking like a suited up dumbass at the movie premiere last night. He would have done the same thing in their shoes (boots), but that still didn't stop him from slamming the laptop shut and throwing it in a trashcan.

"Any of you try to get that while I'm on shift I'm gonna throw it out the window next."

The Beach - Saturday

It was a fairly decent morning and Billy was itching to do some surfing. REAL surfing. The holo simulations were great for a convenient and quick session, but there was just something about a natural wave that no simulation could ever full capture.

By early morning, Billy was down at the beach that morning, surfboard and cooler in hand, and a couple of Porgs following after him curiously. So, if anyone was around the beach they would likely catch a glimpse of Billy enjoying the cooler water and the happy sounding squawks of the Porgs whenever he managed to catch a particularly good wave.

Caritas- Saturday

Tino looked at Jaye like she had two heads when she actually showed up to work.

She ignored him for a while. Got herself a beer because she deserved it and they were right there. Looked anywhere but at him.

But she could feel him watching her, and finally said, "I was busy getting exorcised, okay?"

It was worrying how casually he accepted that explanation.

Miguel couldn't believe he was having this conversation.

"I don't care. Mustard ice cream shouldn't be a thing, and even if it is, it doesn't belong in root beer."

"How do you know, if you haven't tried it?" pointed out the cook.

"Call it a hunch. Put it back."

The cook harrumphed at him. "Spoilsport."

Drunk and Bored club, Saturday night on the beach

Last week had definitely been a Thing, so Miguel was absolutely on the beach today with plenty of booze.

And a panther. And no, Rosa, panthers did not get whiskey.

Or beer.

There was a steak for the panther, and a twelve-pack of decent beer and a bottle of tequila for anyone who showed up. That was human or human-adjacent.

The Drunk and Bored club was in session!
