With her little emergency jaunt into space to help, you know, save another galaxy from another really dumb galactic empire type outfit, Summer hadn't had a lot of time to do anything too elaborate for jello shots tonight, which was a little disappointing, it was the first week of the new semester so it would have been nice to go all out for the new people. But of course her ship was equipped with any of the equipment and resources she may need to whip up a decent shot or two, so, by the time she'd gotten back, she was at least a little prepared.

And she was absolutely not asking why Tino was covered in pigeon feathers, either.

Not having his class on a Monday morning as it seemed to have been for some time now turned out to be quite the double-edged sword. While Shunsui was very grateful to not have to drag himself out so early after a time period that would, inevitably, most of the time, involved many things that made that difficult, it seemed Nanao-chan saw his later-in-the-week class as a good excuse to find plenty more for him to do while he was back in the Seireitei over the break. He was honestly a little surprised he was able to convince her to release him for the sake of the store, but, thankfully, there he was, breezing in as usual to settle in behind the counter for a nap after maybe just a tiny bit of a cursory update on how things had gone while he was away, back to where his level of responsibility over....anything was blissfully reduced.

And he was just going to choose to believe that Apu-san not including any copies of My Kittens are So Shy to his We Love Memoirs Day display was just a simple oversight and not a personal insult against his own autobiography.

Dite's Decadent Delights | Wednesday

Irene had Clementine in the shop with her today, and given that the wee little dog was growing rapidly and actually starting to resemble a dog rather than a very small puddle of dog-like substance, she made the mistake of allowing her to roam for a bit.

That mistake was corrected, Clementine's little playpen was set up again even if she was getting a bit big, those trashed dildos were thrown in the back, and Irene was spending the rest of the afternoon leaning against the counter and researching whether they could take extra puppy school classes to sort of nip (bah-dum-tss) that chewing thing right in the bud.

Dite's was open, in any case.

Superheroing!- Community Center- Wednesday morning

A new semester! And look at Kitty doing something different! Kinda!

"Hey, all," Kitty greeted the class. "If you don't know me, my name is Kitty Pryde-Barton, and I'm an occasional X-Man. I'm a mutant who joined up with a superhero team as a kid, have skipped around to various teams for years, and I've spent time as headmistress at a school for mutant kids at a time when everyone around me was being an idiot."

"Currently I'm doing family stuff here but I go back to help when I'm needed. And in a town like this kind of attracts superheroes, so even if you're not one, maybe you want to be one, or you know one. In this class I want to deal with the issues and things that could commonly come up while you're doing this, but I want to get a sense for what kind of class I'm dealing with. Also usually I run this class up at the school so this is different for me. So we're doing good old-fashioned introductions today. I want to know who you are and what your experience is, and what you want to get out of this."

So there were cats popping out of the ceiling at random intervals today, and it was basically the best thing ever.

Steph thought so, anyway. Saffron was absolutely beside herself with indignation. As if her daily tribulations weren't bad enough, now she was forced to share her food with these imposters, and no amount of yowling and clawing at Food Human's legs would get her to stop.

Little Bot was busy picking up after everything the ceiling cats knocked over, but true to form it didn't bother him at all.

As for Steph, if anyone needed her, odds were good that she'd be trying to get one of the ceiling cats to pop out over the cardboard beholder standee so she could get an epic selfie, especially since the beholder now had a sign over it that read:

COME ON IN, HANG YOUR HAT ON AN EYESTALK!
(Grants advantage on saves against his eyebeams.)
