So, Prompto had a new job, and he was weirdly kind of excited for it? Like, sure, his reasons for picking up employment here was entirely practical, to get some more money rolling in as well as to take liberal advantage of that employee discount, but, like, the T&C was practically an institution. One of many cogs that helped the gears of this place to keep turning. And maybe he'd just been feeling pretty introspective about a lot of stuff lately, but it almost felt like another way to fully integrate himself back into the island, to make himself a part of it again, hopefully in a way that made it more difficult to just whisk him out of it again...

Most of his day, however, seemed to be Apu insisting that there was still more training to be done, although he'd already done training with Summer, and while he could have told Apu that, it just felt easier to just go along with it and rehash some of the stuff.

Except for the things Apu told him that seemed to be in direct contradiction to what Summer had told him.

So "that should be fun!

He was also going to get a few shots of the cheese panda in his downtime, too, because stock photos of a panda in a grocery store felt like a really niche market that he might try to tap into.

Well, one of his players (the tabaxi, in fact, which made this very funny, if you asked him) had turned into a cat, and they were about to go on a weeklong school trip, so Graham was busy working that day not on anything directly related to the store (there wasn't a whole lot else to do anyway! But if there was, he'd do it, quickly, just to get it out of the way to get back to his other work), but on maybe some lighter, fluff ideas and interactions to throw at the group today before they really got started with the next leg of the campaign.

Considering the long list that was compiling throughout the day, he was not going to have any trouble coming up with something.

Even with the slight distraction of Saffron occasionally yowling at him accusatorily because he was clearly not the small pink kitten she could prefer to be there right now, and why was he here instead, and why wasn't he doing anything to change that fact, huh?

Graham mostly just tossed her treats in the meantime, hoping that would, if not entirely win her over, at least give her something else to focus on.

Community Center Class: Practical Woodworking for Beginners

That morning the shop was ready to go with all the equipment and supplies needed to continue working on their first class project. When the time came Dwight started with a small apology to the class.

"Sorry about the unexpected absence last week. Family-related emergency and all that," Dwight said rubbing the back of his head. "But let's focus on the here and now and get back to those projects. We can hopefully get them finished up today so we can move on to the next project when we resume class after those of you who are going return from the school trip."

With that Dwight motioned to the three workstations set up with the in-progress projects ready to go.

"Alright, let's get started!"

The teenagers were trying to decorate the joint for Halloween, and Eddie had the oh-so-important job of making sure if anyone fell off a ladder and broke their face he'd be around to call 911.

Watts had a bachelor party to go to tonight (the Troopers? Still sulking about their lack of invites), but that didn't mean there wasn't work to do today!

Of course, it was Fandom, so the work was mostly paperwork. That he was foisting off on the Troopers.

While Raiden respectfully disagreed with those that had insisted last week's offering "wasn't pizza," he was a big boy. He could take constructive criticism.

Some might come to regret this.

Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had a trip home coming up that she was actually a little nervous about, even if she was only talking about it in the vaguest of terms so far. (Because she was a little nervous.) She also didn't know how much training she'd be able to do, so she was going a little harder today like she was trying to make up for that.

This meant she was on the course today, lightsaber out, fending off remotes and not having trouble at all. And deflecting a bolt with her hand while mid-jump? She was particularly proud of that one.

Fix & Clean- Friday Afternoon

After that morning's class, Dwight got to work. He started up a second pot of coffee and began going through the inventory deliveries that had been stacking up lately.

He was also trying not to let himself feel too disappointed that there had been nothing special in the mail that morning. Why was it bills and junk mail seemed to come endlessly but the one piece of mail he was waiting for and anticipating the most felt like it would never get there?

If anyone needed Dwight he would be in the shop, trying to keep himself busy and resisting the urge to run out to the post office again just to make sure nothing got overlooked.
