Yesterday had definitely left Prompto in a better mood than he'd been in for what felt like a very long time, and it was good timing, too, because being in a good mood alone seemed enough to irritate Apu, which normally wouldn't be a thing Prompto would strive for, but that guy had been such a butt to him that, you know what? He was going to revel in his good mood, and Apu was just going to have to deal with it, so there.

But it seemed that Apu was much too busy, anyway, going around and highlighting all the ampersands on all their signage. Which included the Newbie Special for 25% off for new people, but also now included an additional 10% off of all products with an ampersand in their product name!

Look, just because he was working here, Graham didn't seem to think that should exclude him from donating money to chase bouncy dice around the store, even if that did mean he was kind of in charge of timing himself for the challenge, but that was fine!

And, true, he could probably get away with just chasing bouncy dice around the store without donating five dollars each time or, heck, even without the time limit, but that seemed to be antithetical to the whole concept.

Honestly, at this point, he might as well just have Steph donate today's paycheck, because he enjoyed this way too much, and if it turned out to be a pretty quiet day, there was literally nothing that would distract him enough to realize he should maybe stop after a while or take a break...

One of the teens got themselves caught up in fake spider webs while trying to decorate the joint for Halloween. Eddie wasn't surprised, but he was disappointed. He'd help get him out eventually but first he'd see if the little guy could free himself on his own first. That's how you learned.

After months of only letting herself be glimpsed out of the corner of one's eye, the station cat was making her presence known today.

Mostly by jumping up onto anyone's desk the minute they got to working on anything even vaguely important and walking all over everything.

The weather might not agree, but the cultural zeitgeist did: it was fall now. Raiden was happy to comply, and he added a note at the bottom of the specials board related to the change of the semester more than the change of the season.

Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

It was a perfectly peaceful training day, with Rey sitting on the floor and trying to basically lift everything that wasn't nailed down in turn by remembering/sensible where it was.

Except for the second time, someone's ringtone went off. Rey didn't know the song (Mambo No. 5) and she didn't even have a context for what ringtones were (as someone who showed up in 2016) to understand why this was weird, but the other woodchucks were looking at the offending woodchuck like he had a second head.

Three Minute Dates- Caritas- Saturday until 8:15 pm

Caritas was decked out tonight for tonight's event with balloons and a giant glittery sign over the stage.

THREE MINUTE DATES!!

And a few minutes before 8:00, Kitty took the stage with the zombie band playing her on. As the music stopped, she began, "Welcome, everyone, to our semi-annual Three Minute Dates! If you're new to this, you've added your names to the list and when your name is called, you'll meet your first date and have three minutes to get to know them. Then when the buzzer sounds, it'll be on to your next date. Easy peasy! We've done things a little differently tonight, and gone through the painstaking process of picking some great matches for you all-"

It was then that Tino took it upon himself to come by to show off something like a miniature version of SNL's upcoming hosts board, with everyone's names attached in pairs. It was really a work of art.

And then he slipped on a patch of glitter and the names went flying everywhere.

One of the zombies played a sad "wah wah" sound.

For a moment Kitty just stared in horror, and then said, "Give us two minutes," and dashed off the stage.

Off to a great start!
