No, no, Graham was not going to build a snow fort inside the store. Although it was tempting, the logistics of it did seem just a little bit out of his purview, although he was tempted to go around and gather various resources and try a bunch of things until it actually worked.

He did, however, come up with what he felt was a good middle ground, in getting to the store and then seeking out games that involved some sort of snow play element to them, as well as a whole cadre of games from a publisher called Snow Fort, and then brought them out to make a little display in the form of a fort with them!

And then, in a stroke of genius, put Saffron in charge of the store real quick so he could rush over to Turtle & Canary to pick up a bag of cotton balls, which, once he returned with them, he just may be using as 'snowballs' to lob at people when they came in.

For the most part, Prompto really did just try to come into work, do his job and any extra tasks Summer might have left for him, and take care of customers, while categorically ignoring whatever Apu was up to that day as much as he possibly can. Sometimes, that was a huge challenge, and today....it was going in spurts and bursts.

Sometimes quite literally.

Because it was apparently Brew a Potion day, and Apu had set up a few cauldrons (they had those here?? Apparently so!) by the Squishy machine, with a sign that said "Brew a Potion, Get a Free Squishy!". He was spending his day, apparently, tossing random stuff in and seeing what happened, which was usually fine and created nothing more than a really nasty-sounding drink, but, every so often, something exploded or started smoking and Prompto was left coughing and trying to clear the smoke from the air and started to wonder if he should get some sort of gas mask to make it through this shift alive at this point.

Eddie was shaking snow out of his hair when he came into work today, proud of himself for not slipping and falling on the ridiculous cobblestone when he was walking here. The teens were acting like it was a snow day, so he didn't expect much work to be done.

Which, fine, whatever. Place basically ran itself anyway.

Trooper Station, Friday

There wasn’t really much to do today, actual-work wise. Even the normally endless reams of paperwork had been finished for the week.

Thus, Watts was spending his time today researching the various Caribbean islands and potential vacation destinations.

Though of course the Trooper station was open if anyone did have any Trooper-related business that needed attending to.

Fandom Fire Station, Friday

The goose was back. Or possibly it had never left. It may, in fact, have been stalking Travis to the mainland and back, staring at him from a distance as he tried to do his volunteer firefighter gig in Baltimore.

Or maybe Baltimore just also had a Canada goose population and Travis was paranoid.

Either way, Travis was in a staring contest with the goose today. He had a firefighter's pike pole to keep it at bay. It had a what looked like one of the throwing axes from the Devil's Nest in its wing. They each stood on opposite ends of the lobby, unmoving.

Probie heaved a long-suffering puppy sigh and went to go take a nap.
