You know, Summer wasn't sure if it was a good sign or not that it took her as long as it did to realize that Tino was speaking exclusively in French that day. She was, however, determined to justify it with the reasoning that Tino didn't really speak much at all, and even when he did, she usually only paid half-attention, quite often for her own sanity.

But it did inspire her to do a quick change on what her featured cocktail for the evening was going to be, although it was too late to really make appropriate switches with the jello shots. That was fine, though. Leaning into it too much might make Tino think that she actually supported him doing weird things like this, which she categorically did not, for the record.

But, fuck if she didn't love a good theme.

Furnado Animal Shelter; Wednesday [03/20].

Prompto absolutely never wanted to be one of those parents that would go and put his kid on a leash, but last week's misplacement of Noctra had him sort of reconsidering it, if he was entirely honest, but he was, instead, just going to set up some helpful barricades around the store to keep her at least in a specified space.

But it turned out that he didn't even need to worry about it, because the vet was working on leash-training a few puppies and even some cats that day, which left Noctra absolutely fascinated....and insisting she have a leash like all of her new friends, and then subsequently started crawling around and barking like the dogs, too, and Prompto...well, it seemed to make her happy, but he was starting to wonder if there was a thing as too much animal enrichment, as well...

He was definitely looking up a few things online today, that was for sure.

Tiny wasn't up to anything this evening.

It was making Octavia extremely suspicious, and a little bit uncomfortable.

"Seriously, what are you doing?"

The shrug she got in return did not inspire any more confidence in her than anything else had.

Steph had recently come across an amusing new indie game that she'd immediately had to get in at the store because come on, she had to. A d6-pool one page game about eldritch chickens? Totally an insta-buy in her book.

And naturally she had to fashion a little chicken coop display out of cardboard boxes to show it off, right? Obviously.

She was pretty sure it was just errant sunbeams casting shadows that looked like waving tentacles in the general vicinity of the display, though Saffron was giving them a wide berth.

[OOC: Yes, I did also drop $5 on a single printed trifold sheet of paper when I saw this game, and no, I am not sorry in the slightest. Open!]
