Fandom Island Museum, Thursday Daytime

Steven was in a good mood when he got in to work that day. Not that he wanted to jinx anything but things in his life were going rather well. Even for Marc, who was a key part of why they would be going to Toronto on holiday, albeit one that was a little sooner than they had expected.

Regardless, there were museum displays to update for springtime and things to make sure to catch up on so that there wasn't too much work piling up while Steven was away.

So Steven was busy, but cheerful. He was even humming a song to himself as he did it all.

He was, of course, interruptible by any visitors. That was part of the job as well, of course.

Pixie Dust; Thursday [03/21].

The greens and oranges had been replaced with a slew of bright, fresh pastels throughout most of the store, lighter fabrics and shorter sleeves and hemlines and Boc was happily going about putting some of those new products up on the racks, taking his time and in no hurry since there was no hurry to his days in general. He could admire some of the nicer ones, wrinkle his nose as some of the garments that he just did not understand or were made of some of those awful materials that they had in the world, and then he might even take a few moments to dress up some mannequins and work on the accessories.

He did like all the floral motifs that were popping up with a lot of the items, and when he was finished putting the new things out, he might settle down with some flowers in his embroidery, feeling rather grateful that they didn't have to deal with miranda sprouts here on the island!

It wouldn't have surprised anyone who knew her (although, to be fair, that eas a very short list) to learn that, after her class that morning, Eleanor had picked up a book on fungi, molds, and spores to pour over at the shop today. It was really interesting reading, and maybe even useful, in the family business, if she looked into it further.

It also gave her a few interesting...ideas, about the old house, but, well, those would have to remain theories, since there wasn't exactly an old house to go back toanymore for research...

Since it was Easter next week, Liz was trying to get as much of the reports done as possible so that she didn’t have to worry about doing them after Easter.

At least it seemed she didn’t have as much paperwork this week other than the reports, so she was pretty happy with the progress that she was making that morning.
