Furnado Animal Shelter; Wednesday [10/29].
Wednesday, October 29th, 2025 06:10 amIt was great to see the animals all in a great mood that morning from the extra visit and attention they'd gotten from Stark's class yesterday; Prompto was a little bummed that he'd gotten so wrapped up in Noctra's album project that he'd lost track of time and missed it, but the vet filled him in on some key details, and that kind of stuff just warmed his heart. He really wished more people would just pop in, even if it was just to play with a puppy or pet a cat or chat with the birds. It really made a huge difference!
And after he came in and took care of this and that around the shelter like he usually did, he and Noctra settled in for a bit of a photography lesson, since there were plenty of cats here, too, like the ones she'd tried to take pictures of at the BPRD over her weekend visit.
"Now, you see, Nugget, it's important to try and frame your subject right in the mid--hey! Wait, hold on!"
The cat in question had turned and stalked away the moment he was about to take the picture. And this continued to happen throughout the day enough that he realized that he may have forgotten that cats rarely made photographing them easy on a person, and he may have been a little quick to jump on it being a skill issue on Noctra's part.
Although, also, to be fair, she was only two and a half. That, combined with the natural tendency of cats to kind of be total butts?
"You know what?" he patted her head a little. "You're doing a great job, kiddo. We'll definitely just save the Rule of Threes for when you're actually three."
She seemed way more interested in making faces at the fishes and telling them about Abe in excited rambles, anyway.
Furnado is open!
