The kitchen is actually quiet for once and both Ariel and Bridgette are in the living room watching Finding Nemo. Marie is seated at the the table and is giggling at Allison. Allison flips the sign to open and sips her coffee.

Michael was still in deep sleep this morning, and Ben decided not to wake him. Ben brought his manuscript downstairs with him, and at times he can be heard quietly cursing at and scribbling on the pages.

Red sneezed again, a violent sneeze that made his head shake and his jewelry jangle harshly. It was such a violent sneeze, the cubs skittered and jolted from the force of it. Then he sneezed again...and again...

If Aaron or Duce felt like opening, they could, otherwise...Red was heading back to bed, leaving the door to his flat open so the cubs could come and go until such time they were underfoot if the shop did open. He needed the rest.

Phale's Book Shop: Wednesday

After making sure the store is "pimp demon" free, he starts going about the routine of getting everything set up for the day.

Spike's Pub: Open 11/30

Chewbacca seems edgy tonight as he opens the bar. He pulls the plug on the juke box and sets out a cube player. Something that sounds vaguely like Irish folk music fills the pub. The playlist will include all sorts of music, some more danceable than others, and nothing with an electric guitar to be heard. Whistlepipes and Drumxylophones? Those are a different story all together.


He switches on the sign and waits.

After his day at the bookstore and conversation about religion with Martin Blank, Jarod stopped at the NPC stationary store and purchased a small red notebook and a good pen, then made his way to Caritas. At the top of the first page, he wrote:

Things I Believe

1. The Centre is not a good place.
2. My family is still alive.
3. Miss Parker will never completely make sense to me. Or anybody. Maybe.
4. Pez are good. Also jellybeans.

He would add to the list as the night went on, assuming there were slow periods. He would hide it under the bar when patrons began coming in.

She shifted slightly, adjusting the envelope that was stuck in her back pocket. Every few minutes, she would glance up to the door as though waiting for someone to come in.

After two days feeling under the weather and stuck in the apartment, Michael was about to climb the walls. Even though he wasn't quite feeling up to par, he needed to get out. He settled down in the Perk with a cup of coffee and stared into space, lost in his thoughts.
