Alfred opened up Cafe Fina early on Sunday, against what he usually did, and placed a large sign up prominently so that everyone would know it.

He felt he somehow owed it to them for yesterday somehow being missed entirely.

Back from being a complete recluse, Sawyer decides it's best that he walk - because we all know walking is good, right? He rounds the edge of the pond area in the park, that infamous cigarette in his mouth and one hand stuffed into his jean pocket.

Sue Ellen sat at the counter, eating red licorice and reading the National Inquisitor. It hadn't been really busy, just that couple that had been affectionate at check in. She paused from her reading to consider them for a moment. They'd been really affectionate. JR never touched her like that anymore. Oh well.

Her musings were of no concern to the demon who was sitting in the office, making phone calls and arranging things just to avoid the inevitable arrival of agents from Below coming to collect their tithe.

Something in the air crackled a portent that this wouldn't go well, no matter what.

Wonka's Sweets Shoppe - SUNDAY BRUNCH

Wonka had prepared a feast of chocolates and fruits dipped in chocolates for the Sunday brunch. He propped open the door and put out all the crates and tables he had for people to eat by. Then he brought out the light chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, chocolate mixes, coffee chocolates, strawberry chocolates and fruits to dip in chocolate.

Then he sat down to wait and read through Miss Luna Lovegood's application.

The Perk, Sunday afternoon

The rain was beginning to seriously annoy Ellie. Her nightly stargazing had been curtailed by the cloudy nights. There had been a few breaks here and there, but for the most part it had been steady rain for the past several days.

She'd already unpacked most of her belongings in her new apartment, so she grabbed her laptop and headed over to the Perk for an afternoon mocha, writing up a syllabus for her summer astronomy course. She was pleased with the number of people who had signed up for it so far and couldn't wait to meet the students and begin teaching.

The Park, Late Afternnon

All day she'd been thinking about how she wound up with plans to have dinner with Sawyer next Friday. Well, all day since she woke up, after she ate and fed Bruiser and called her mom and changed her nail polish and did her hair and put on the cutest shoes and took Bruiser to the park to enjoy the day. Ok, so maybe it wasn't all day.

She was still making her way through the law book while she sipped her double-tall-skinny-free-mochaccino, iced. Bruiser was making friends with the ducks near the pond and Elle laid in the intermittant sun, wondering what she should do for dinner. "Oh, yeah! I'm having dinner with Sawyer next Friday." she exclaimed to herself.
