Lana opened the store on time. She couldn't quite manage to keep the smile off her face after the events of last Friday and the weekend.

However, a part of her couldn't help remembering the effects of the events of 5 years ago. She dug through the contents at the back of the store and mananged to find an American flag which she hung out front.

Braca's late too work this morning. Blame his faulty alarm clock and the fact that Jay Leno was frelling funny last night.

Nevertheless, Town Hall is open.

Thankfully there's a break in the light showers of the morning and the forcast for the rest of the day is "Mostly Cloudy".

Mary is sitting on a bench near the Duck Pond waiting for her students to gather, while at her feet a "small yappy type dog" is frolicking in the wet grass and... well... Yapping.

Cut to save your flist )

[[ooc: This is a public comm post in a public location and thus open to all if anybody else would like to play with Andrew or the students. :) But I am putting up OCD so please wait until that is done. Open! ETA: Dogs you can talk to: Dief (who is afk until around 6 or 7 PM FHT I believe), Andrew, Pup (Note: He's got a HEAVY accent and is not an earthly dog), and/or Skeeter ]]

Most people had sense enough to come in out of the rain. Billy found that he actually enjoyed jogging in the rain. Sometimes he avoided the puddles. Occasionally by jumping over them.

establishy, but open for interaction.

After class, Chad grabbed some lunch and headed over to open Empire on time.

He is gluing quarters to the floor.

He does not feel he needs to explain his art to you.

But the hip, indie-alt rock he's playing today might be his inspiration.

[[ spurts of slowplay all day due to presentation of doom tomorrow, but I'll be aroundish ]]

Sister Rosette really wished it was raining more. She actually enjoyed being in the church when it was raining out, the sound of the drops pounding on the high roof, the atmospheric flicker of candlelight from the occational draft...

This cloudy and drizzle crap, however, left her somewhere in an unpleasant middle ground. Too icky to go outside and have fun, but not icky enough that she could pretend that, instead of sitting in a boring old church, she was in some sort of gothic setting of a romantic adventure novel like The Hidden Hand or Carmilla. She sighed as she hung over the pulpit, reading some Scriptures to only one little old lady (the others were being attacked by bouts of the plague or something). When she started to change the story so that Adam and Eve were kicked out of Eden and found themselves in a dark, dreary castle, the little old lady got very upset, and Rosette placidly returned to reading off the unending list of who begat who.

[[ may/will encounter slowplay ]]

It had taken some coaxing, but Wilson finally won out. He and Aziraphale had a blanket spread out under some trees near the pond, along with a bottle of wine and a portable CD player. Against all sense of public propriety, the angel had his shirt off and wings unfurled, and was being indulged in a good therapeutic wing preening.

[ooc: Open for anyone who happens by, or use for your own Park needs. Please use one of the two OCD threads, and keep my wee tired brain happy. :)]

Alfred opened up Cafe Fina on Monday by putting up a large sign in front:

"Sushi chef has decided to replace all fish with possibly poisonous puffer fish. Eat at your own risk."

Today, Jarod has given up on duct tape. He has, however, discovered the wonders of colored gaffer's tape. The zombies were now very, very colorful, but seemed happier.
