Teddy dragged himself through the entrance of the shop, nowhere near awake enough to be doing this.

He was never staying up late before he had to work to read old issues of Catman and Sparrow again.

Lana opened the store and since she'd cleaned it pretty thoroughly Monday before Jack came she didn't have much to do. So once she'd done all the things needed to get it ready to open, she sat down and put her feet up to read Alice in Wonderland for next week's class.

The store is open!

Chad was humming idly along to the jazz he was playing today as he leaned on the checkout counter (surely, he had just imagined those slight creaking sounds), flipping through a Rolling Stone magazine. And he totally wasn't re-reading the interview of the cover band with the idea that it was the Teal Dear and it was him and his bandmates (mostly his bandmates) answering the questions while the interviewer praised them for their awesomeness. At all...

Sister Rosette had convinced Chrono to mind to the church today by virtue of the fact that she had a lot of work to do, and she needed copious amounts of caffeine and atmosphere to do it. The church was totally not the right atmosphere. So she got herself a super-grande extra-shot mocha latte with strawberry and orange flavorings (her tastebuds were feeling indescisive today), grabbed a table, and spread out a large map of the island, cracking open a few books she'd found in the basement of the church, and set to work, occationally making some notes and circles and random smily faces and dramatic, Shakespearean-esque stick-figure scenes all over the map, idly chewing on the end of her pen when she sat back to think or wasn't guzzling coffee.

You hear that sound?

That is the sound of the head sushi chef sharpening his knife. Not his sushi making knife.

The other knife. For a member of the vegetarian movement had dared to question his bushido.

There will be blood. Oh yes. There will be blood.

Most likely Wadsworth's, as Alfred has decided that it has become his problem.

Jarod, feeling sick, opened the bar, left Tino in charge of the zombies, and went into the back room to lie down. Tino had instructions to come get him if necessary.

[ooc: Caritas is open, but I'm feeling icky. Please feel free to mod Tino as you will, and ping in OOC if there's a Jarod-specific conversation that has to happen.]

Jude clattered through the door of the diner after his classes slightly more subdued than the end of the school day usually found him. He loved his classes - 'cause sumo wrestling? Totally awesome - and he did find them interesting, but this magic one . . .

There was a girl. Her name was Starr. She was a Vegan and she rollerbladed and she marched to the beat of her own bongo and she didn't think like anybody else. She taught him all this stuff about getting in touch with yourself and the universe.

And then Starr became Nebula, and Nebula didn't want Jude any more.

Luke's is somewhat bummed but open.

Aziraphale was mopey because his mun was having a bad bad day. The ducks had all but left town, gone to warmer climes for the winter. That seemed wrong, somehow...a duck pond without ducks. It was like a high school without gremlins. And Wilson was locked up in their study (not literally omg), furiously trying to finish the materials for his article and get his lesson ready for the next day.

So the angel went down to the sadly-duck-lacking park, took a seat on his favorite bench, and moped. He even considered going and getting drunk. Not because he had any reason to go and get drunk, but because it seemed like the sort of thing one did when one was mopey.

[ooc: Open to poke at the mopey angel, or for any other non-angel-related park matters.]
