2An enormous tent has sprung up covering the majority of the Park. Just the big rides - the Ferris wheel, swings, and merry-go-round sit outside of it.

There's carnival music, concessions, games, activities, even a mirror maze and mudpit to add to the festivities and distract them the lack of a football team

[OOC: Everyone's welcome at the Homecoming Carnival! Yay for weather-modding! The rain predicted on the mainland has hit the Pleasantville barrier so it's a gorgeous autumn day. Please don't ping into the kiss booth, dunk tank, or pie threads until the target pings in, but the games, rides, and activities are free to mod.  OCD is up!  Have fun!  There's a mudfight in the tent...]

The sign out front says WELCOME ALUMNI!

[ocd is coming, sp for any interaction (clark, Pheobe or Ranma (who will hopefully be able to ping in later)) or simply mod the staff]

Lana opened the store with a very pouncy panther cub in tow. She had a feeling she was going to spend a lot of time straightening up behind him.
[identity profile] dude-its-jude.livejournal.com
Jude hung around monochromatically at the foot of the causeway, waiting for Setsuna and their cab. Master of packing light, Jude had a backpack sitting at his feet, skateboard firmly lashed.

Any physical similarity to a Drape is clearly in the eye of the beholder.

[[And away they go!]]

As students enter City Hall, they are greeted by the usual streamers, balloons, and confetti all in various shades of silver, grey, and white. The Hollywood and Vine intersection sign stands in the foyer. Vine points towards the coat check in while Hollywood points to the ballroom. Off to the side, students are reminded to vote for Homecoming court.

As students walk through the ballroom, they'd notice that the Walk of Fame has the names of the alumni as well as famous actors and actresses. One wall of the ballroom is taken up by a huge Hollywood sign and the LA cityscape is painted on the other.

(Prom is currently CLOSED OPEN! Chaperones, security, and music? Please ping in ASAP. Have fun, and post two will be going up in about five hours. Both posts are definetly slow play friendly!)

Cafe Fina, Friday

As a result of the Pleasentvilling Alfred was dressed...

More or less exactly the same.

What? He's a butler. They haven't changed their mode of dress for YEARS.

He was, however, suffering a strange compulsion to call everything Bat-"something".

Cafe Fina was open and decked out to the nines for Homecoming.

Some of the streamers have begun to fall down by now but overall the hall is still looking the same as it was two hours ago, only with more people

(Homecoming Part II is CLOSEDOPEN.)
[identity profile] mparkerceo.livejournal.com
Parker was stopping by to stock up on caffiene, mochacchinos, frappachinos, and espressos for the weekend ahead, and cream for M. "Can you put that in a big bottle? No, it's not for me. My cat has expensive tastes."

[ooc: open for anyone, but waiting on one particular alumni]
