Kaoru came into work at 9, followed an hour later by Hikaru. Thursdays were double days, so both twins sat at the counter to wait.

Billy Joel played in the background as they started putting up streamers and blowing up more balloons, making the shop more pre-homecoming themed and less dark. Emo and goth slow danced around the shop, occasionally knocking something over...

A Claratin (TM) and vast quantities of juice later, Giles is back in the shop.

He's currently reading The Real Middle Earth: Exploring the Magic and Mystery of the Middle Ages, J.R.R. Tolkien, and ["The King of the Bracelets"].

He's swearing. A lot. And throwing things.

Walter was almost hoping to be locked in the wine cellar again. It hadn't been such a bad way to pass Tuesday evening.

However, there was yet another battle brewing between the bloke who baked bread and the pastry chef. Walter thought the bread guy might win on pure alliterative power, but he was trying to stay out of it, as they were both waving serrated blades around with wild abandon.

He'd make sure that no one had fingers in their food, though.

Jane has discovered that there is a place where the items for sale are always the same.

That is, you can always find these items in the same place, they don't get moved around the store by Baldrick as other items tend to be.

In fact... Baldrick doesn't even like to go near this section.

So Jane is there, trying to figure out what it all is.

That doesn't make any sense.

"This be Thursday, I be the pirate, 'n ye be listenin' t' Wine, Wenches 'n Song on Pirate Radio," a very familiar voice announced. "Today be the day before Homecomin', so if any o' ye ladies 'n gents be lookin' fer datin' advice--not ye, Sam, ye be a eunuch--the phone lines be open. Bother me!"

Barbossa flipped the music to Jimmy Buffett, opened up a bottle of rum, and waited for the phone to ring.

Caritas Thursday 10/05

Phoebe got to Caritas a little early and helped to put the zombie drummer's hands back together. She did a quick inspection of the place to make sure that everything was in place and then unlocked the doors.
