Lana opened the store on time and got ready for any customers who might happen by. Her bags were all packed and ready to go and despite everything she was kind of looking forward to going to Vegas. It would definitely be good to get out of Fandom for a while.

Crow turned on the marquee and was surprised to see it still worked. Oh joy! He also realized it's been a whole year since they showed Manos in the theater. How could they have been so forgetful?

Now Playing: Manos: The Hands of Fate
Showtimes: 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 6:30, 8:30

There was a sign by the door that read: We are not responsible for any brain damages, comas or spontaneous combustion that may occur while watching this film. Enjoy!

((Info on the movie is here))

Apu hasn't quite figured out that All and Sundries actually closes for the night yet and has been in the store for 72 hours... In a row.

He's wandering around the store on his tippy toes and flapping his arms really really fast.

Apparently, he thinks he's a humming bird.

All and Sundries is open.

Kaylee was in her usual cheerful mood when she showed up at Empire Records. She had brought random engine parts with her again to fix. She wondered if it was possible to build a robot dog with them instead.

She was listening to 80s music.

The sign outside of the church had been decorated with two pictures (badly drawn in crayon) of horses flanking the message for today:

FRIDAY:
MARTINI!
...but not that kind! Inquire within and learn all about it!

Rosette was particularly proud her obscure religious holiday discovery of the day and, when she wasn't decorating the interiour of the church with the Christmas lights from the basement and cheap Halloween streamers, she and Chrono were decorating masks with supplies he had will soon be picked up from All and Sundries. They each had one too. Chrono's was just really glittery, red, but Rosette's had lots of fake feathers and sequins.

[[ open for all your churchly needs, or just come to celebrate obscure, ancient Latvian harvest holidays as Rosette's interpreted them.... ]]

[[ETA: One of these days, I will remember /center, I will....]]

Sam was behind the bar for all of five minutes before the relentless cheerfulness of Sydney the Squid's entire musical repertoire made her homicidal. The female zombie howling into the microphone while her zombiefriend gazed on in what might have been stoned adoration didn't help.

Five minutes later, she was on her back under the sound system, trying to fix whatever was wrong with it. From the banging and swearing, it wasn't going well.

[ooc: Sam's around, and Tino's moddable.]
