Lana opened the store on time. She found herself a little sore after yesterday's run, but mostly in that pleasing 'I had a good workout way.'

She'd managed to talk to Jim handwavily and modded with permission for about 10 seconds last night before his dad had made him get off the phone. Enough time for 'I love you's' and 'I miss you's' but not much else. She wasn't sure if the call had made her feel better or worse about everything.

In any case, she was at the store and ready for any customers who might wander in.

Sparky Repairs, Wednesday

Teddy opened up the shop and got back to work on his tiny metal Thanksgiving. The turkeys were done and now he was moving on to, well, he was sure what else was Thanksgiving-y.

This could take him a while.

Of course, there does seem to be a dent on the counter where Apu repeatedly hit his head. Thanks, no doubt, to his attempts to get Joxer to understand the register.

Today he discovers Jane doesn't use it either.

That poor poor counter.

If you were in Vienna or Austria, you wouldn't have school today!

Rosette and Chrono celebrated by pretending they were in Austria and using it as an excuse to not do anything. But Chrono refused to wear the leiderhosen. It made Rosette sad.

Movies in the Park, (11/15)

It's the very last week of the movie series, and the movie screen has been set up in the park. The outdoor gas heaters are also in place, to create a pleasant atmosphere for movie-watching, and some awnings have been erected to protect movie-goers from any possible precipitation.

Bring your date or meet your friends, or just find a quiet place to enjoy a good movie. The film begins at dusk.


[OOC: The movie begins at dusk, and the screen will be removed afterwards. OCD threads will be have been set up for your movie-going use. Anyone who needs the park for other purposes will find that the outdoor cinema takes up only a portion of the park, with plenty of space available for non-movie needs.

Empire Records; Wednesday [ 11/15 ]

Chad had brought his guitar with him to work again, as well as the music Zero had left for Try Not to Die (Moron). He was going to try his hardest to actually figure out what all the marks and dots and lines on the paper translated into. Progress wasn't going to well, though. He was almost looking forward to someone coming in and interupting him so he could get himself away from the extremely frustrating task.

Sheet music sucked. Impromptu for life, yo.

After his run the previous day, Billy felt he still had some things to work out.

As he opened the bar for the night, he noticed that three of the four band members were excessively happy (which he could tell because their grunts were much more higher pitched than usual). He couldn't figure out why, until he also realized the female zombie was missing.

Or at least parts of her, as he found while he was taking out the recycling and found her head in with the vodka bottles. He'd give it back to the guitarist when the night was over, along with some extra-heavy duty duct tape.
