Leo found himself a nice awning to set up camp under, and took off his back pack. It was a might chilly out, but he was nicely bundled up, and his hair and beard insulated his head rather well.

He leaned against the door of the closed shop, and smiled placidly out at the rain.

Raindrops keep fallin' on my head...

Safewalks - Evening

Fandom Trooper Station had been abuzz ever since Tex had received a message from principal Washburn. While Tex generally cheered on the thought of less students to have to babysit, she also had her pride and this was so not going to happen on her turf.

So security around the island had been tightened up considerably. There was more white and blue in the streets of Fandom and as an extra precaution Tex had decided to reintroduce the Safewalks until things had settled down again.

As this was a first for the troopers, Tex was there as well to make sure everything went smoothly.

((There will be more patrols and tighter security around the island until the abduction plot is settled. I will try getting these safewalks up in the evening for the next few days.))

Our Lady of Fandom; Thursday [ 11/23 ]

There were plenty of boxes, with glittery signs with arrows underneath the "Please place donations here! Thank you!" instructions by the church entrance, awaiting everyone's holiday blessings.

If Rosette found any canned yams, however, there may be trouble.

Apu has carved himself a turkey out of tofu, he also has a few vegan side dishes.

Photo Hut, Thanksgiving Morning

At some point during the night, Leo had realized that he in fact owned the shop he was camped out in front of. Which was nice because it was decidedly dryer and a bit warmer inside.

the place looked like it hadn't been occupied for several decades though, which was strange. Ah well. The next morning, he set to cleaning up, with the radio playing his favorite song.

You can get anything you want, at Alice's Restaurant.

Photo Hut isn't exactly open, but it's unlocked and the lights are on.
