Cally had gotten to Fast Eddie's before Mac, just to make sure everything was ready. She'd gotten shoes for both of them, had sodas ready to go, had that book she bought for Mac ages ago all gift wrapped, and was ready to be the worst bowler ever.

It was gonna be a good two-month anniversary.

Tomorrow was Thanksgiving. Tomorrow there would be pie. But today, Teddy was at work and terrifying the dingbots with his excitement. He was bouncing around the shop, counting down the time between now and pie time.

Sparky's is open!

Lana opened Aereopagitica feeling particularly down. It was over two weeks now and still no sign that Jim was going to come back.

She sure wasn't feeling like she had much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

The party was still going on inside, but Charlie had eventually found Alanna again and asked her to join him outside. So here they were in the chilly Fall air, walking quietly together.

Much to Chrono's surprise, Rosette was up early and, clutching to a big cup of black coffee, didn't seem terribly hungover. She winced a lot as small sounds, claimed it a "You even think about touching that organ and I kill you" day, and sneered and sank with a silent groan when she thought he wasn't looking, but, for the most part, she was happiness and smiles, although it was all rather muted. Chrono showed her the flyers for the food drive that he'd made the night before, and she approved, and then they sat down to make some more because Rosette really did want to have her hand at some. As they sat in the centre of the aisle with their art supplies and coffee, Chrono could notice her bloodshot eye and weariness, but she was smiling as she drew poorly rendered turkeys on the paper, occationally holding it up and asking what he thought.

He loved them, even if he wouldn't have been able to know it was a turkey if he didn't have forknowledge. "It's great, Rosette," he smiled at her; she smiled back. "And I'll go put these up all around town for you, too. So you can just stay here and, uh, rest. After you long day of adventuring, of course."

"Thanks, Chrono." Ooof. Even smiling made her head hurt.

Chrono went around town, putting flyers on walls, on trees, and, in one instance, on a duck (don't ask).

Some of the flyers were simple and elegant, others were guady, sparkly and had pictures of poorly rendered turkeys. Guess who did which.

They all had the same information, though:

Thanksgiving Food Drive!
For the less fortunate.

Between Wednesday November 22 to Friday November 24, Our Lady of Fandom Church will be accepting donations of canned food and other items that will be collected and sent off to several orphanages on the mainland.

Please come and share the warmth and blessing of the holiday with those who need it.

Rosette had managed to add something to the bottom of a few of hers that went unnoticed by Chrono: No canned yams, please. Everyone really hated that crap.

GOB was in the spirit of the season. He was dressed like a pilgrim and wanted people to give him thanks for the booze he was providing. That's what the season was about, right?

He also replaced the zombie drummer's drum set with several raw turkeys. Strangely enough, he didn't go for the obvious joke and replace the drumsticks. He was curious to see what would happen.

[OOC: I am here. GOBble GOBble!]

Chad wasn't the type of kid who knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. He never really thought about it much. Right now, he was mostly holding onto this rock star thing with Teal Dear (it was so going to happen, dammit), but he had enough foresight to know that it might, just might, not get anywhere, so, in between jockeying CDs and CD playing accessories (which was not something he'd want to continue doing through life, although he did love any job that let him play guitar and make CD towns and get paid for it), Chad was writing out his holy book for his religion, sparked back up into his consciousness from class earlier.

A cult leader was really just a rock star without the music, really. Plus? Virgins. And orgies. Again: Rock star without the music.

[[ empire's open, and properly posted now. yay ]]

Saigo was confused. First his human leaves without telling anyone where he was going (the hotel staff were conducting a thurough search of the Hotel. They suspected terrorists. Or Trolls.)

Then, while Saigo was searching on his own outside, a human had hung this piece of paper around his neck.
