Teddy leaned against the front counter and tried to read an old issue of Really Fast Guy, but his concentration was shot. Really Fast Guy made him think of Tommy, which made him think of Billy, which made him both angry and depressed. Not a good day.

Having already spent most of her morning working out, Honor slipped into The Perk for a hot chocolate and a little quiet time, away from the house. She felt rather like she was cheating on her steward -- he made excellent hot chocolate by any standard -- but with Andrew hovering over her so much of late, she was feeling a bit smothered. Besides, she thought, it's not like Mac has to know...

Nimitz, perched on her shoulder, gave a bleek of laughter. As he began to sign, Honor swatted at his hands. "Not a word, Stinker." She gave the treecat a wry grin. "Say anything and no celery for a month."

Gathering her hot chocolate, she settled into a chair and withdrew her minicomp as the 'cat swarmed into her lap. Honor read over the incoming newsfaxes from home, absently running her fingers through Nimitz's fur and sipping occasionally from her insulated paper cup.

Whoo hoo! They did it! their daring and perilous escape had been successful, and a nun in an arm-sling and a demon with a coffee burn waltzed back into the church.

"Ahhhh, it's good to be home! But, maaaan, Chrono, you sure sucked back there. Terrible performance, terrible, I say."

"Hey, you got out, didn't you?" He decided not to mention that they were going to let her out, anyway. She probably wouldn't listen to her. He was just happy to have things finally return relatively back to normal.

The cooler weather didn't seem to affect anyone in the shop at all; in fact, Maru and Moro were more playful than ever today.

They would get right to work if they noticed a possible visitor come by, however.

Hitsuzen was open for anyone who needed it.

The Perk, CAS Meeting [Tuesday, After Class]

Mac is sitting in a corner of the Perk with a fat textbook, and the biggest mug of coffee she could get her hands on. At least she has something to keep her busy until people arrive for the CAS meeting.

On the table in front of her are several more mugs, and a cool-bag with some handwavily bought tubs of different flavoured ice cream in it. There's even chocolate covered coffee beans and a few assorted other toppings to put on it.
