Having awoken from an odd dream involving a veritable miasma of hyperactive slinky squirrels with grass seeds all involved in a colloquy regarding the current seed-industry oligopoly and its effect on the price of vetiver, Lumiere made his way downstairs to open his café.
At least his staff wasn't half as odd as his dreams sometimes were.

Today's Specials Board reads:
Food. At reasonable prices, given the current oligopoly on fancy dining establishments on the island. Now with 78.3% less vetiver!

Fina is open, and fortunately the food is mostly vetiver free!

Today was another homework-catch-up day for them, considering they'd been pretty lazy this week with school. There'd just been a lot of stuff on their minds lately..

Anakin loitered in front of the MC apartments sipping coffee as he waited for Rose to arrive for their standing date of flying lessons.

He was looking forward to getting the hell away from Fandom for a few hours.

[OOC: Anakin's here for Rose, of course, but is up for small talking before she arrives. Radio squirrels, due to timezones being the suck, Rose might not ping in before you make your rounds--plz to be reporting they went off together. Mwahaha.]

Isobel stopped by the pond to set out the items she had mostly handwavily gathered.  She seemed to have almost everything she needed - except the hair from virgins. She'd just have to increase her efforts, that's all.  She'd make sure she had enough to complete the spell tomorrow.  One way or another.

Leo had the television set up on the counter again. Despite the fact that the store's stock had finally been updated for the 21st century, the TV was still one of the old Bunny Ears sets. Fortunately, through the magic of Fandom, he was getting perfect reception.

He was watching Ultraman, and trying to process the information that in the meantime the actor playing the title character had been crippled and looked like Ultraman's nemesis by the time he'd passed away.

The Devil's Nest -- Saturday 3/31

Here it was. Setsuna's first real turn behind the bar. Mazikeen, of course, was there to help or grab a few orders here and there, but Setsuna was determined to do this correctly. She'd spent all of last night paying close attention to what Mazikeen did and had spent most of the day going over all the different combinations for speciality drinks and general bartending knowledge.

She was so ready to do this thing. And possibly even look cute while doing it.

Ellen then informed Tino that April Fools Day was tomorrow, and that bunny-suited zombies were just patently ridiculous any time of the year.
