Ami opened the store, flipping the little sign to announce this to the world. It was a lovely day, after a weekend full of study and nothing but study. Nothing could ruin her mood. She had left Setsuna a message and was hopefully going to spend some time with her best friend and roomie.

The pews were getting quite uncomfortable, which must have something to do with being mortal. Gabriel considered if he should take the hotel owner up on her offer. On the other hand there was the issue of privacy. The lack of religious people on this island was impressive.

Despite everyone's best efforts (spurred on in no small part by numerous colorful, monosyllabic epithets and threats of ankle-kicking from Yitzhak), the diner's stock of Spam had apparently not diminished at all.

Which meant Spam specials all day again.

Yitzhak's mood hadn't been much improved by a dream about being cremated and having his ashes packed into a Spam can and shot into space, either.

Mary was starting to seriously consider becoming a vegan just to get out of having to eat another GuntherBurger. Her brain was still not quite awake after another rough night. Thank goodness that Father's Day only came around once a year.

The Beach, Monday Afternoon

Tori made it to the beach in record time, surfboard in hand. She'd managed to get Dustin back into his tank after another failed escape attempt on his part.

She tested the water, finding it to be a little cool, but not as bad as she'd expected. Taking a seat in the sand, Tori waxed her board as she waited for Luke.
