Ino flipped the sign to Open after her usual quick check around the store, dusting the glass cases and sweeping the floor, before sitting at the desk and looking thoughtful.

Every now and then she jotted something down in her notebook, but for the most part she just stared off into space.

Wellspring Arms is Open.

[Unexpected visitors of any variety are totally welcome~!]

Not having to worry about classes or homework or even parents this week (okay; maybe a little bit on the parents side of things, but only a little. Turtle knew her parents were relatively normal), Turtle was doing a lot of extra paperwork to keep herself busy and make it feel like she wasn't slacking off. Because slacking off meant losing money. And she couldn't have that!

Today's Squishy flavors: Anxiety Apple, Facepalming Fruit, Grape Judas

Turtle & Canary is open!

[[ and, yes, unexpected visitors of the wild variety are welcome to tromp through. ]]

Chris had actually been indulging himself in laziness since he had a week off from classes. He had handwavy been spending a lot of time with Lana. Tuesday morning, he finally convinced her to leave the dorms and go out for breakfast with him.

[Chris is here with Lana, but post is open and he'd be happy to talk to anyone! Except Johnny, because Johnny is a jerk ;) ETA: But his player CRACKS ME UP!]

Melody was trying to convince the kittens to form their own version of the Pussycats. Mopsy looked right at home behind the tiny drumset, but Flopsy and Cottontail were more interested than in wrestling than in singing and playing guitar.

Maybe it wasn't so far from Josie and Valerie, after all.

Groovy Tunes was open.

Another day, another dollar. That is how George Michael felt when he got to the stand today.

Oh, but then he reminded himself that he was seeing Joanna later, after work. That perked him right up. He was grinning ear to ear now and polishing the counter top like there was no tomorrow.

Nothing like getting a little action after a hard days work, eh?

[ooc: the banana stand can be open to any sorts of pesky critters.]

As usual, when Blackheart opened Pixie Dust today, he was in a rotten mood.

Okay, fine, Blackheart was almost always in a rotten mood. But today, it was a more rotten mood than usual.

After all, with Parents' Weekend coming up, he was starting to dread the possibility of having to deal with his father, here on Fandom where he was delightfully and surprisingly free.

Pixie Dust
Fine Apparel and Accessories

Yeah. We're open. Tread carefully, intrepid shoppers, we're grumpy again.

(Open! I'll be about for a few hours, and then it will turn into another slowplay dance for the sake of employment. Woo!)

"Good afternoon, residents of Fandom," Robin said, happily kicking her feet up on the desk (and away from the soundboard, since that was just an accident waiting to happen). "Robin Scherbatsky here to answer all your fascinating questions and play all your music that doesn't clash with my own personal taste. Lines are open, and I'm bored, so call in."

It was slightly more difficult than usual to get a hold of Jeff today, as he was flitting around the hotel with a roll of scotch tape and some wooden boards.

"What are you doing?" Gunther asked, cornering him in the kitchen.

"Mary's got me on for the weekend but I've got to protect myself, you don't know what it's like!" Jeff whimpered.

"...What?"

"Do not go near my mother," Jeff warned him, pointing in his face, "No good will come of it." And then he ducked under Gunther's arm in a hurry.

Gunther blinked.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!

After a stop at the Perk to pick up lunch, Isabel and Charlie headed over to the park to enjoy the fall afternoon and figure out how to play Jumanji.

Sitting cross-legged on the blanket, Isabel read the instructions for the game "Jumanji. A game for those who seek to find: a way to leave their world behind. You roll the dice to move your token, doubles get another turn. The first player to reach the end wins." The drumming chose that moment to start up again. "Oh yeah, definitely a Fandom game."

There was a small pocket on the side of the board and Isabel opened it to reveal the game pieces. "What do you want to be? An elephant, a rhino, a monkey, or a lion?"

It was just going to be an innocent board game… )

[OOC: Not for interaction. OOC comments more then welcome and will be fed to the hungry vines. There will be a post up in a bit if you feel like running into Audrey II's magical cousins.]

Giles opened the shop and settled in at his desk with a book he'd just received for translation for some nice quiet reading.

The Magic Box was open.

Jack opened up the shop and got some of the green-screen things ready. He was hoping for a visitor. Maybe that cluster-phobic girl, if she actually left her room. Maybe that gal from his Comms class who kinda liked him.

He was smiling as he set up the shop.

[Open for visitors! Not just those suggested, either.]

Hoshi was feeling brave enough to leave her room and go back into town during the daylight hours. While she was waiting for Annette, she was carefully taking inventory of the cutlery on the table and wondering about the effectiveness of a fork and knife as weapons.

[Hoshi is here to meet Annette, but Pizza Planet is open for all of your pizza needs! Also open to any pesky critters who would like to terrorize an already-traumatized Hoshi.]

"I think we need a new form," Xander said, poking through the paperwork drawer. "A Fill This Out When You Move Out So I Actually Know The Apartment's Empty form."

Cut for wackiness )

The corner of the park was strangely quiet. No birds chirped, no squirrels ran through the trees.

The only noise was the occasional rustle of a vine as they continued to grow.

And wait.

Hungrily.

[ooc: open for all your semi-sentient man-eating vines fun!]

Some days, Anders just couldn't get the Synthetron to work with him, and there was something innately traumatizing about getting a cup of grape Jell-O instead of coffee. Plus he was out of coffee grounds, which ruled out the traditional old boring coffeemaker.

Thus, standing in line at the Perk, staring up at the menu board and being racked with the horrible indecision of not being able to even narrow his options down to a baker's dozen. If there was any sign left of earlier rampaging that had gone on in here, he hadn't noticed in his half-dazed cheerful state.

And then the weirdness starts (and we get talky) )

[OOC: NFI, Pre-played with a whole bunch of people. OOC comments more then welcome. We now return you to your wackiness free Perk.]

No, Dick had not gotten Annette's message about the monkey when he opened up Caritas. He had been too busy doing what he does best: sleeping. He barely made it on time to work as it was. When he got to work he did some last minute tape jobs on zombies and declared (to Tino) that Caritas was ready to open.

"You're certain you don't mind?" Naminé asked nervously.

"But of course, mademoiselle," said the cheese-grater. "Naturally, we would not like to disturb ze patrons."

"We shall assure them it is all costuming, should anyone ask," the pepper-shaker agreed, with a bow. "Would mademoiselle like a costume, to fit?"

Naminé raised an eyebrow. "I'm ... not certain. Allow me to think on that?"
