Although he was still kind of bummed over the oh so handwavey cancellation of his date (which, in lieu of not happening had gone from being kind of like a date to definitely a date) this weekend, A.J. discovered at least one benefit to Beauty having gotten handwavey sick. He could now proudly add chicken noodle soup to his repertoire of things he could make well, having made some for her all weekend. He figured it was cause for minor celebration, like actually have a special today.

Atlas Gym [Sunday Afternoon]

Fraser remembered the last time he'd sparred with Wade all too well and he was determined not to let history repeat itself. Somewhere, deep in the back of his mind, he figured that that was a useless thing to hope for but it was easily enough ignored.

So, he was there, stretching and warming up because it had been awhile since he'd sparred with anyone and he did not need to pull a muscle before Wade even arrived. He'd never hear the end of that.

Doom was waiting for anyone... ANYONE... to try anything in the store today. Last week's shift annoyed him to no end and if anything even looked like it might approach that, there wouldn't be enough left over to bury. This was one of those rare times that he was wearing his gauntlets while working, just so he could react more quickly.

Today's Squishy flavors: Red, Grape Judas, Don't Even Think About It

That last one was kind of a minty flavor.

When Tino got to the bar before Anders did, it wasn't that big a deal.

When opening time rolled around and Anders wasn't there, it really kind of was a big deal.

Nothing and no zombie was going to talk Tino out of attempting to build a small olive-firing catapult behind the bar, in case he did eventually walk in.

Too bad he never did tonight.

Jamie was doing an inventory of the canned goods. That is if said canned goods should be inventoried by being set up in a fort-like structure where Jamie can defend T&C from invaders.

The Arms Hotel Lobby, Monday

This morning, Gunther had gotten an e-mail from the Food Network. If he had read it, he would have seen that it was an ad for a new cookbook. But Gunther wasn't smart enough to do something as simple as read the e-mail. To him, the e-mail meant only one thing: Bobby Flay was coming to challenge him to a throwdown.

That's why Gunther was in his best chef's outfit with a normal chef's hat and directing the sous chef to make plenty extra of his special henri sauce.
