Romeo was thoughtful this morning, his conversation with Liir of the night before making him wonder if he would trade his experiences for a blank slate and one perfect kiss.

He was pretty sure he wouldn't, but the idea still had him adding a splash of Bailey's to his coffee and arguing with himself over how early was too early for absinthe. (11, maybe?) Purely for the property of helping him think, of course.

As Alex opened up the Magic Box, she realized she still needed to apologize to Giles about missing work last week.

Being sick had been loads of fun... NOT.

Settling behind the counter, Alex popped open her laptop and browsed the World Wide Wizard-web. They were having a sale on shoes.

Sky figured that, even though he was still wearing The Suit, today couldn't be much more embarrassing than all of his friends, plus one of his teachers, seeing him in it on Friday (and pictorial evidence being gathered). Plus, Xander had given him the great suggestion of pretending it was Fandom weirdness every time he went yellow. So he was slightly happier than he had been that day as he opened the stand for his Monday shift, reading a book and warily watching Eddie, who was now pacing his usual bench and eyeing that tasty-looking giant banana with a fleshy spot.

"Come any closer and you'll find out what a force field feels like," Sky threatened the seagull.

Groovy Tunes; Monday [ 01/28 ]

Prince Oscar Pedro had finally gotten out from under the bed; Chad realized that it was probably just that he was hungry because he went directly to his food dish. Either way, it meant the kitten would come with him to work today, and they celebrated with the other kittens with the most epic game of Chase the CD imaginable. It required Chad pretty much just kicking one of those operetta crates on its side, letting the contents spill out, and letting the cats just go crazy.

It was insanely amusing. Not that you'd tell from Chad's expression, though.

Seregil came into the shop and set out the tea and pastries for any customers who might want some.

Then he settled down himself with a few books on computers. He wanted to know more by the next lesson he had with Andrew.

The Preserve, Monday Evening

After running into Ino, Kabuto definitely needed to go do his intended training.

Dressed in his training gear, Kabuto found a secluded spot to work out. Unlike Ino, who had been handwavily working on her chakra control, Kabuto was focused more on his taijutsu, or hand-to-hand combat.

Hands glowing with blue energy, he worked out his frustrations with a kata workout pattern.
