He… didn’t really feel like working today. Makoto still showed up though, in his girl-guise, and set the place up neatly and efficiently.

Then he headed straight for the video games. Ahhhh, mindless entertainment.

Yitzhak wasn't around today, although the bouquet of glittery plastic flowers on the counter seemed like the appropriate stand-in for him, but the diner was open nonetheless, and the staff downright chipper in their boss's absence.

After checking to make sure that everything in the store was in order, Isabel settled down behind the counter with her coffee and her laptop to check out beaches in Bora Bora and Moorea. For no reason at all.

Pixie Dust was open.

Today was a laaaazy day according to Melody, and that meant the proprietor of Groovy Tunes could be found slumped in one of the beanbag chairs at the back of the store, a cat in her lap and a mug of hot chocolate at the ready. She was playing air drums along with the Go-Gos record on the store stereo and idly watching the doors in case a customer came in.

Groovy Tunes was open.

Mary was behind the front desk working on wedding planning today. Specifically, she was planning her planning. There was a large flow chart, a master to-do list with several smaller to-do lists, and a calendar with several dates crossed off in black marker.

Gunther was staying very, very far away from her today.

George Michael still had strippers on his mind when he came into work. Having never seen a real life stripper before, he might be thinking this might be a good thing to see at his bachelor party. Of course, it was still far enough away that it could be planned properly.

He turned on his portable cd player and started chopping nuts. Aside from strippers on the brain, it would be a productive day.

With a mug of hot chocolate covertly masquerading as a coffee and a bagel with extra cream cheese to her side, Turtle Wexler settled at a nice table by the window at the Perk, surrounding herself with the usual collection of lots and lots of things to work on. There were more books than usual, and maps, taking the place of the usual inventory print-outs and budget files. She and Jeff, after all, had promised Constable Fraser they'd be careful on their moose-hunting excursion this weekend, and so, of course, there was researching to be done and charts and graphs to be made and books to be read. Work, work, work. So much work. But anything worth doing required it.

The Open sign had appeared on the door at its regular time, and Cable was perched firmly in his seat, leaning back slightly as he went through Michael's data from that Monday. Tether had curled up by his feet and was snoring quietly, filling the store with soft noise.

Robin had her planner with her when she wandered into Caritas, actually intending to catch up on it and make a few lists while she was there today.

She also had a few new drink recipes that she'd scribbled down, as well as helpful notes to herself such as Tell B. to keep track of unif. & D around B. (not same B.) and Call K. re: diary omg.

Ami opened the store and sat down with a novel. She wasn't studying which was unusual. She was reading a romance, which was even more unusual. Darn it all,she missed Setsuna.

Lucas arrived on time even if his mun wasn't and set up the golf clubs and balls for his shift. He was a little tired, so he got through his routine duties quickly and settled in behind the counter with paper and a clicky pen.

While he was clicking the pen in an annoying fashion, he'd stop if someone came by to talk.

Sokka ignored Apu's glare when he walked into the store late. ...Okay, maybe 'ignored' is the wrong word.

"WHAT??!?!? Like you've NEVER gotten to work late before???"

Apu stopped stocking shelves long enough to look Sokka square in the eyes. "No, I have not."

"Well, lovely. Good to know that you're perfect."

Turtle and Canary was open, and grump-- Oooh! Easter candy!!!

Turtle and Canary was open, and not so grumpy.
