Wellspring Arms & Meditation Centre, Wednesday

Yeah. Okay. So maybe handwavily doing a bit of night training had been a stupid idea when she had work the next day. Whatever. Planning ahead so wasn’t her forte.

Nonetheless, Ino showed up early as usual. What wasn’t so usual was the fact that she was clutching a pillow in one hand and a light blanket in the other. Setting those on the desk she wandered about the store making sure everything was clean and her plants were watered then switched the sign to Open.

Then she curled up in Cable-san’s chair with her pillow and blanket and closed her eyes. She’d wake up for customers. Really.

Maybe.

Glad that it was Wednesday and therefore not Tuesday which meant, combined with Miss Lulu’s moving the mid-term to after the break, that he didn’t have cooking for a good while. Which gave him more time to practice. So Makoto was cheerful when he showed up, in his girl-guise of course, and opened the shop.

Setting out tea and cookies he then settled behind the counter with a book.

Amber was a little tired this morning when she came into work. Late night of writing had her eyes sore and she was kinda headachey. But, be that as it may, she was busy bustling around the store, making sure everything was tidy and neat, before she settled herself behind the counter.

George Michael had a rough day yesterday. What with having to deal with Joanna, inviting her to the wedding which was a stupid idea and one that he had to take back, not to mention making Mary cry last night. He was just on a roller coaster of emotions today.

Wait.

He was not a freaking girl! He can't believe Joanna suggested that.

"Eddie? Go peck Joanna's eyes out. She's on that yacht over there," he pointed in that general direction and Eddie squawked. "Okay, I'm kidding. Just poop on her deck."

Sigh.

Teyla was still getting used to the idea of midterms, and how they were causing the other students to worry. She was not worried, but that didn't keep her from studying anyway, while taking healthy breaks to clean around the store.

Today's music: Salsa! It was fun to dance to while she cleaned.

Apu had arrived on time and opened when he was ready. Sulley, on the other hand, had slept through his alarm. When he finally awoke, he rushed down to the store, fur on end, and hurried to stand behind the counter.

Andrew came in, opened the store, made some tea, and took up his post behind the counter. He got out his notebook and started working on a packing list for his trip with Liir.

The design on the specials board today was a little darker than usual today, with lots of streaks of blues and purples. A.J. felt it was reflective of his mood, which wasn't very good in the slightest, thoughtful and annoyed. He tried working on some concept designs for his project to distract himself, but they weren't going very well. Things like the pencil lead breaking or soup spilling all over his sketchbook kept happening, so eventually, he just gave up, threw the sketchbook across the dinner in a fit, and then just spent the rest of the time sulking.
