Doom didn't want to deal with customers today. Not after managing to avoid nearly everyone after taking his place back from his robot decoy. He knew he might have to deal with that in class tomorrow and he was more than willing to choose that time for the inanity of any questions.

So he spent most of the day in the back doing inventory in a very thorough fashion. Doom was, after all, excellent both with numbers and with obsessive detail.

Today's Squishy flavors: Red, Grape Judas, Red Judas

[OOC: Not feeling well today, so please mod Apu for any shopping needs.]

There was a note on the church door:

Do-it-yourself Sunday service

Gabriel sat on a pew munching on donuts and drinking coffee. He certainly wasn't going to share any of it if anyone stopped by.

[The church is open]

A week in California, and Anders wasn't any more tanned than he had been when he'd left. Still, he looked more relaxed than he had been before he left, if not particularly eager to be back.

He was even nice to Tino . . . well, okay, not necessarily nice, but he didn't greet him with any kind of putdown.

That might buy him an hour before he got an olive thrown at his head tonight.

She didn't expect to be out and about patrolling so soon after vacation, but several hours cooped up traveling quickly changed her mind.

So Mel headed out on patrol and dragged a certain person with her because it had been too long since they had caught up with each other.

"Seriously. Is that hair for real?"

[ooc: For one in particular but yes it is open if you care to wander around in the graveyard.]

It was good to be outside and out of the clinic once Doogie had discharged him and Cameron took Ray into the park while Sam went to arrange their ride. It was mostly the same as he remembered and really, that shouldn't come as a surprise but somehow it was easy to forget exactly how long he'd been gone.

He didn't like these moments in between where it was just him and too many thoughts and he shivered, trying to push them all back. He wasn't alright, as much as he'd tried to pretend to people, they knew as much as he did that it wasn't.

He wandered for just a little while until he stumbled across a tree that he would have remembered if he'd seen it before. It was blossoming, in the middle of winter. Pink flowers that reminded him of a friend and he smiled a little, the chill from earlier gone as he stood there. And just for a moment, the sense of loss and desperation that had been clinging to his clothes washed away.

He made it. He was alive and he was in Fandom and maybe he would be alright.
