The Perk, Sunday Morning

Having dressed 'herself' as best he could, in a black, tight-fitting, long-sleeved t-shirt that was never going to fit the same across the chest once this was all over, and a pair of dark-wash jeans that, thankfully, fit remarkably well (with a little help from the Speech), Ronan made his way down to the Perk to drown his woes about Fandom Weirdness™. He ordered the largest hot chocolate they had, and a croissant, and then sat down at table to eat -- and to figure out how to handle his... new, and hopefully temporary, endowment.

Selkie Cove: Sunday Afternoon [3-9-08]

It was really cold out, but Lana didn't particularly care. She wanted to be out on the rocks, watching the ocean, so that's where she was. She had on a warm coat and she'd stuffed a blanket in her backpack to sit on and wrap around her when she got there.

She hadn't heard from Chris since she'd left his room Thursday and wasn't really sure when she would. Or if she would. Or if she really wanted to. She wasn't sure if she was upset or sad or mad. She wasn't sure about much of anything except that the whole situation was starting to feel like Clark all over again and she'd be damned if she was going to go through that whole mess once more.

Makoto was trying to make up for his not-really-doing-anything on Thursday by doing a whole lot of reorganizing today. He’d have cleaned, but the store was sparkling clean after yesterday.

Doom had plans to complete. He had more or less figured out how to deactivate what he imagined to be a complex security system, but he needed to work on his sneaking about.

That's why he was pacing behind the counter, trying to step as quietly as possible. He would learn stealth no matter how difficult it might prove in armor.

A.J. might not have been in the best of moods today for his shift at the diner, but there was a bright side. Two, actually. He didn't have that stupid rabbit anymore, and any brooding that he might have had was actually being nicely balanced with the annoyance he was feeling, so it kept him from getting too maudlin.

Today's special was rabbit stew simply out of a cruel streak.

Gabriel held up the cowbell. Should he had mentioned it to Zophael? The mystery surrounding its arrival still bothered him, but really he doubted whether the other angel would have known anything. Zophael was always the type to pretend to know more than he did.

Hey, it'd been one of those weeks. Which was why Anders had staked out a bottle all to himself and had set up behind the bar, working on building his very own pyramid of used shot glasses.
