Glitch had been feeling restless, so that meant a walk.

Walks usually, for him, tended to up in the park whether his synapses were aware of it or not.

The poor man was completely oblivious to any suddenly smallish going on amongst the students. It wasn't quite the way he was completely oblivious to other things, but it did mean he wouldn't be expecting to see any children while he was out.

Surprises were good, right?

[ooc: Expecting a particular wee Ozian, but open for all Glitch or parkly needs!]

Everything seemed astonishingly normal at Turtle & Canary this Saturday. Apu was sweeping the aisles, the SquishyBot was eying any miscreant squirrels running around, the Squishies flowed like (non-alcoholic) wine of the gods. There was just...two things off, really.

There was less room on the counter, some of it was being taken up by a new register.

And the girl behind that register, counting the pink bills in a stack of fake play money, was, at best, maybe seven years old.

Occasionally, Turtle would lean into the little microphone on her new register and call out, "Clean Up in aisle five!" There usually wasn't anything to clean up, but it amused her that Apu always went to clean it up, anyway.

Today's Squishy Flavors: Grape Judas, Peanut butter and jelly, CANDY.

Turlte & Canary is open!

Mary seemed to be having one of those mornings. She got up a bit earlier than normal, went to the kitchen to start the coffee maker, sat down on the couch while she was waiting for coffee, and dozed off. So she was just a little bit late getting into the lobby for her shift.

Welcome to the Arms Hotel!
Please join us for
afternoon tea or coffee if you need it.

Another weekend of -- hopefully uninterrupted work. That's all Cable'd asked for, really.

Which is probably exactly why, upon coming down the stairs, he found that his entire stock had, apparently, turned into...

...Something not exactly quite like weapons. Is that a cork gun?

After a second or three of quiet boggle, Cable shook his head, shot Tether a look, said, "Figures," and sat down.

[ the store's not open, but the door's not locked. wee! ]

Gabriel smiled to himself, thinking about what Zophael would say if he was to pay him a visit. Not that he was going to. He had a feeling God wouldn't like it, and he wasn't taking any risks right now.

[The church is open]

Jittery and having reached the point where more coffee had sounded like a bad idea, Mohinder had arrived quite early at J, GOB to pick up something to eat.

Breakfast was probably meant to be savoury - it wasn't - but then it was also probably meant to be eaten shortly after waking - which had been Friday, he thought - and Mohinder's good intentions hadn't quite succeeded there either. So, Mohinder was propped up at a table with a soda in one hand and a couple of sticky-sweet muffins in front of him.

[Open - with sugar]

"We're gonna go to Dagobah," Luke told the group of tiny people who had followed him up to the shuttle.

He stared way, way up at the datapad that locked the door. "As soon as I can get that open," he said, frowning.

[OOC: Open to weetinies and any grown up who might hear the group of children trying to break into a space ship...]

D'Argo showed up to Caritas on time, but he'd spotted a few very small people on the way. "Fandom again?" he asked when he got in.

Tino sighed, and nodded.

D'Argo went behind the counter just long enough to grab the nearest bottle, and said, "I'll be in the lounge."

Robin had taken it upon herself to take all the dogs -- yes, all six of them -- out for a walk, and now she was curled up on a bench in the park as she just let them play. Maybe they'd wear themselves out and sleep the whole night through. That'd be nice.

Well, nice for Benton, since she never got up with them these days, anyway.

[open to all weetinies. Robin has six dogs, yes, but they're all friendly. And she loves kids. Really. She does. A lot. Except not. :D]

In some totally handwavey manner, Melody had noticed there seemed to be more kids in town than usual.

This made her happy. She loved kids! They didn't use big words or talk about boring things, like big people.

So the store was open tonight. Balloons were tacked just outside the door, there was a huge bowl of candy on the counter, and a Kidzbop CD was playing.

[OOC: So open, as I could not resist putting Mel amid the weetinies.]
