George Michael usually didn't open the stand on Sunday but after handwavily noticing more kids in the area, he thought opening the stand might be a good thing.

It's just... he wasn't exactly sure how to deal with kids. Couldn't be hard, right? Chuckling nervously, he started getting everything ready, ignoring Eddie who was a squawking mess. Apparently George Michael threw off his week by opening today. Guess Eddie would have to deal.

Sean was in his office, doing paperwork because it kept him from thinking about the utter brain breakery of his little sister being all of four years old. Every now and then he'd wander out into the store and make his way around to make sure everybody was being helped and that nobody needed anything. And then it'd be back into the office for paperwork.

He was going to actually end up ahead on it if he kept this up.

[wait for the OCD is up and weetinies welcome!]

She needed coffee. And a lot of it.

Kerrigan sat in the Perk with her PDA on the table and a large mug between her hands, rubbing her forehead with as much power as she could muster. Maybe if she just reached in and found the headache and ripped its little headachey heart to--

She really needed more coffee.

Joanna relaxed in the ticket booth with a few catalogs of upcoming art auctions at Christie's and her cell phone. If she was the type to express giddiness, she would be, as there were several very nice pieces listed and she knew she would have no trouble owning them. But Joanna wasn't one for public displays of anything resembling happiness. A point she repeatedly told her art broker over the phone as he assured her she would be happy with her purchases.

"I will not be happy," she corrected him. "It is a sound investment. I'm simply being intelligent."

She was also completely unaware of Fandom's current population of very young children.

Wonders was open!

Katara had snuck out of her room very, very early.  Before the sun came up even, it was so early.  She liked the moon better than the sun anyway.  The sun was boring and all burny.

It felt like a long, long walk down to the town, but Katara was Water Tribe and there wasn't even any snow so she wasn't going to complain a bit.  She wasn't whiny like the Fire Nation.   Besides in town there was the bakery.  And Katara had money in her pocket that she'd been saving a long, long time for this.  Now if only she could decide what she wanted.

[OOC: Open for your J, GoB or Katara-y needs]

The Sign )

Next to the sign was another, written only on paper.
Casting for Titus Andronicus. Knock.

...there seems to be some movement inside, anyway..

[ooc: one of a few postings for the next week or so; tag as you can if you're interested in working with Geoffrey][as it's Geoffrey... language warning] [OOC, weetinys are welcome; IC, though, Geoffrey =/= childfriendly]

Makoto made sure to show up early for 'her' shift just so 'she' could make sure they had enough crayons and paper just on the off-chance that they were overrun by weetiny children today.

... Makoto was kinda hoping that was the case. 'She' had no problems with children.

Whew! That had been a long, long journey. And then getting in, and unlocking the door and switching the sign to OPEN.

Robin was now sacked out on the counter, using a few kleenexes for blankets and sleeping recovering.

He'll wake up to help customers though. How else could he remain the bestest Magic Box Employee Evar!

Doom had heard radio last night. He was aware of what was happening.

That's why there was a sign in the door.

CHILDREN MAY BE EXECUTED

That should work nicely, Doom thought.

Today's Squishy flavors: Grape Judas, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli

After last night there was no way Nathan was letting Peter out of his sight. But he wasn't going to keep Peter locked up all day either. Mostly for Nathan's own sanity.

So the brothers were currently in the park, playing tag.

A.J. was thinking that there was a decent chance that, hey, maybe kids wouldn't really want to bother with a diner. Hopefully. But he was psyching himself up to make lots and lots of little milkshakes just in case, and even made an actual special today instead of just drawing something obscure and abstract: PB&J with the crusts cut off and a glass of chocolate milk. He could even make that one himself!

Luke's is open!

Anders hurried in to work a few minutes late after the minor invasion of child-sized friends and roommates in his room, and was almost grateful to be there . . . except that he proceeded to lose himself in paperwork and applications again as soon as he got behind the bar.

Even Tino gave up on throwing olives at his head after a little while, because seeing Anders that focused on something school-related? Freaky.

Anders, at least, remembered to make sure there were plenty of milk and cookies on hand.

[OOC: So, so sorry to do this to you guys on weetiny weekend, but it's gonna be a mod Tino night because I have things to do and just don't have the attention span tonight. *flails*]

Fai had remembered to flip the sign.

He had also prompted the cheese grater to write a new sign to put under the "Open" sign:

FREE CANDY!
Just ask Kurogane!

Karal had been to the Perk.

Karal was caffeinated. Karal was sugared.

Karal was riding Trenor really fast all around the park, racing between the benches and spinning him in tight circles around the trees. Whooping.

Trenor, patient horse that he was, wasn't at all happy, and his patience was starting to fray.
