Ino was pretty bruised from her fight yesterday with Cassandra. Ino was also, quite frankly, ridiculously pleased with this state of affairs. Either way, she showed up early, as usual, at the store and in a fit of what some might call ‘apologetic’ spent a good while cleaning the place more thoroughly than normal.

When that was accomplished, and her plants all checked up on, Ino curled up behind the counter with her purple notebook and set away to scribbling in it. She had Kabuto’s scroll tucked into one of her pockets.

The beauty of their current surroundings made Andrew just a little sad. He knew why this was, but he wouldn't admit it, not even to himself.

Still, it didn't stop him from making a nice little arrangement of love charms, books on enchantments, and some of the more romantically scented candles on a little table near the front.

He pulled up a chair next to the open door and sat down with some of the books from the shop, flipping pages and wondering if there was a spell that could cure doubt.

It was a bit cooler today so Fraser was back in flannel and jeans and keeping an eye on the sky in case of rain.

"Good morning everyone," Fraser said, smiling. "It looks like we got a break in the weather today so we won't all be keeling over due to the heat. Still, stay hydrated and take breaks when they are needed. Thank you for your hard work during this project."

With that, he gestured them all towards their work and headed off to get started himself.

Today Amber was stuck in the book section, specifically checking out a trashy dime-store historical. Pretty soon she was sitting down cross-legged in the aisle, getting some serious reading in.

Aside from class, she'd probably be there all day.

Groovy Tunes, Wednesday [06/11]

Teyla couldn't tell if the odd smell was still present, or if she was just imagining it, but either way, she had the door closed, and was using cleaning the shelves as a chance to replace the odor with something more pleasant inside the store.

Today's music was salsa, thanks to class yesterday, but it wasn't playing as loud as usual. Teyla was on the lookout for squirrels, and she wanted to be able to hear them coming if she could.

Luke's Diner, Wednesday, 6/11

Johnny was helping out in the kitchen today. The cooks didn't really appreciate it as he sort of took over, enjoying himself as he flamed up most everything, making them scurry around to put out the fires.

But the wings were totally awesome!

Mary had not slept well. The suite with the stripper pole was entirely too pink for her tastes. It hadn't helped that she had once "entertained" George Michael in that suite and there were just too many memories there. Going back to her old room didn't have much appeal to it, but the bridal suite was available and she'd never stayed there before. So Mary had someone move all of her things into the bridal suite and hoped that this was her last move for the time being.

Liir had had some trouble sleeping last night. As such, he couldn't quite get his head properly clear and nothing sounded all that appetizing. At least, anything food-like. He wanted sweets. The menu sort of reflected that, but hopefully no one would mind.
