Jack settled in for a long day at work, interrupted only by class and, of course, the factory whistle that signified the end of the shift.

Metaphorically. Literally, it was the cuckoo clock that announced the hours and had a wee cute tiny widdle bird that came out on the hour. With a camera. That was weetiny cutewiddle. And adorable.

The beach was lovely wasn't it? So many people having fun yesterday. So many people getting sunburned. G'Kar of course, was not sunburned. The beaches of Bali Hai were nothing compared to the sands of Narn.

He may have been vaguely amused by how red people could actually get. And they looked at him strange. At least he didn't turn colors when exposed to sunlight too long.

Nana was pink. Nana was pink, and she was rampaging through the lobby, knocking up against several plants before she dashed her way into the kitchen. In turn, this upset Gunther, whose shouting could be heard far into the lobby. It was terrifying the rest of the staff, who were searching the lobby for places to hide-- one, in fact, had found a space under the desk.

Jeff? Jeff didn't notice.

Jeff had just found last night's footie recaps on the hotel television. No catastrophe in the world could distract him from seeing both France and Italy taken down a notch. This was excellent.

Lana opened the store, but even though the breeze was still nice, she kept the door closed because of the odd smell.

Hot, hot, hot. Despite the breeze, the day roiled and burned and seethed, with a stink wafting through the air, and as much as he loved heat, Romeo was pleased to be inside the air-conditioned store today. He contemplated working shirtless, but ended in a linen shirt and shorts, wishing Tink hadn't had him promise no more Hawaiian prints at work. Somehow days seemed cooler to him when his clothing was bright.

Once he'd done the usual chores of setting up the store for the day, he took a seat behind the counter with a magazine, which he employed as much as a fan as a thing to read.

Pixie Dust was open.

Today, there were...flowers. In little trays. And more Pez-shaped bricks to put around the flower beds. And there was a Xander standing next to them who knew what to do with the Pez-shaped bricks, but was sort of flailing helplessly at the plants.

It was okay, though. He had a list. Which he read off very carefully to the assembled masses. While he inwardly prayed there was somebody among the graduates who knew how to take care of plants that weren't arm-eating and holographic.

And then he started making borders, because bricks, he could do. He'd never managed to kill a brick yet. Except intentionally, with a wrecking ball.

[OOC: Open! For grads and anybody else who wants to help with the park.]

Today, Geoffrey was feeling minimalist (which probably had something to do with the props and costumes he'd ordered).

So.

Rehearsal.

Trimming down the design over the past week, Tony found himself busy with starting on the first improvement.

He refused to think of them as jet boots. That was much too scifi for him. This was just science.

Even if he did have an AI running the basic functions of the shop and a few robots that were absolutely no help at all...

"--no, there. Oh, for the love of-- you know what? Move. Just move. You're useless to me," He said, waving Dumbie away before he got in the way anymore.

Adam opened up the place after his one workshop, whistling a quiet tune to himself. He'd handwavily checked out the dolphins like he'd told Jen he would and was happy he'd done so. They really were cool.

Mac'd spent yesterday off the island, and had earned herself a rare tan, so today was a day for relaxing on island. The best place to do that in this heat, at least in her opinion, was a place where she had iced running coffee at her fingertips.

... Or, y'know, at the counter.

After a brief discussion with the barrista over the source of 'that weird smell', Mac found herself a table and a comfy chair and settled in with her laptop for the morning.

[[Completely open. I'm about pretty much all day. Yay!]]

Oiling the metal of her fan, Temari certain didn't look like she was paying any attention to the shop today.

Then again, it might be because the only people who seemed to show up used the Meditation room.

Oh well, more time for her to take care of her weaponry.

"Something smells awful in here!" Donut said when he came into Caritas that evening.

"Maybe it's the zombies," Tino suggested.

"It's not the zombies. This is not an undead smell. This is a...smelly smell," Donut said. He went into the storage closet and got out two bottles of air freshener and handed one to Tino. "Spray, Tino! Spray for your nose and the noses of our customers!"

Tino just rolled his eyes and began to spray. He still thought the smell was coming from the zombies.

Alice wasn't certain what she had expected a group calling itself "Cake" would sound like, but it wasn't this. She wasn't objecting; this was rather delicious in a strangely bitter way. It reminded her of dark chocolate.

Groovy Tunes was open.

(Sorry for late.)

The air smelled weird.

Therefore, the specials today were all fully moddable strongly-scented foods.

Luke's was open.
