The shopboy seemed a little preoccupied, as though his mind was not entirely with his duties as he went through the motions of opening the store. It was full of Tokyo and hell and guns and monsters and Yurika and a thousand other things, and shirts and bags could scarcely budge that.

He took a seat behind the counter and started writing in his notebook, working on a list of his options for after graduation. He knew that it was a year away and he'd no doubt just do what seemed best then, quite possibly something not yet imagined, but it made him feel better to pretend to plan.

Pixie Dust was open.

[OOC: OCD-free.]

When Jeff got in to work today, he was humming the Russian national anthem under his breath. Sometimes, he faltered. Sometimes, he let it grow in volume until Gunther threw things from the kitchen.

He never quite stopped.

Jeff was in an excellent mood. His weekend? Doubly so.

To say she was still a little shellshocked from her own experience over the weekend would be a severe understatement. Kerrigan sat quiet on the sand, green skin making for an ugly contrast between the sand and her skin.

Oddly enough, it would've been more comforting if she'd been able to shiver about it-- but her new body, as it generally did, kept even stiller than her old one would have.

So she rested her chin on her knees, and tried not to think anything at all.

"Not that I think this is gonna work?" Xander says as he points to a pile of waterproof signs, and shiny metal posts to which to attach them. "But if nothing else it'll give 'em something to knock down before they get to the slides and swingsets."

[OOC: Grad project, but open to anybody who wants to help. Or ogle. Or ramp-- no, wait. None of that.]

Lana opened the store only slightly late.

She didn't look in such great shape. Between the drinking and not sleeping and being stupid and fretting over being stupid and not being able to get her mind off the nightmares... Yeah, she wasn't doing so hot.

She found it hard to settle in any one place, so she cleaned a little and read a little and wandered the store - lather, rinse, repeat...

So G'Kar had stopped in the store yesterday and checked up on Sokka. It was his plan to check in on every single one of his employees this week. Possibly he was thinking that an employee picnic or some such would be nice. He'd have to consider that further.

And of course Apu had been fine. If a bit disgruntled ove the fact that people missed their shifts this weekend.

There was a small chihuahua and an angry kitten in Wellspring today.

Temari was more than just mildly interested in how this would go over. Honestly, she had her money on the kitten.

Work still needed to be done, but last night had been surprisingly productive for Tony. He vaguely wondered if the woman was still up there, but remembered J.A.R.V.I.S. would take care of her if she needed something before leaving.

Just had to tighten a few things...

Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Alice was wandering in her mind during her shift at Groovy Tunes. Thinking about this, and that, and a few moments over to here or there. About how this morning's mok'bara class didn't happen. About why she'd suddenly decided to trade in her Victorian attire for something more fitting the time period. About her classes, and nearing the end of her first term here in Fandom. About ... the nightmares from this weekend.

Browsing the Ds was helping.

Groovy Tunes was open.

Did you think that perhaps, after a weekend stuck in his worst nightmare that Geoffrey would take the time off to make sure that he's mentally equipped for practice?

Screw that.

Geoffrey's got the sign up, he's moving around some things, and he's showing the cast the new 'props' he'd made. Which didn't amount to much, but he had been a bit busy this week.

He's got a rock and a table. And he'd figured out that one of the lighting areas off to one side might be large enough for him to get an actor up there for addressing a crowd.

"So. Today? We're going to work on our blocking. I've been pretty lenient about letting you all get into your characters and deal with the text, but we're getting down to the practicalities of the stage. So! On the stage, now."

[ocd will be up!]
[identity profile] lightishred.livejournal.com
Donut was glad to see that the only undead guys on the stage today were the zombies. That other band had freaked him out. He was willing to tape on body parts but there was no way he was going to wrap toilet paper on dudes. That seemed like more trouble than it was worth. And Donut couldn't tie knots very well.

Adam made it to work on time, after his workshops, and opened up the place fairly quickly. He made sure everything was set up properly, that the place looked neat and clean.

He settled in, waiting to see if anyone would show up.

Course List )

[No OCD today because I am exhausted. Would have had this up earlier if I hadn't been stuck at the outlets getting last minute items for Japan.]
