As Juli and Lulu's students finished up their class discussion, Lulu smiled at them. "And now," she said, "for any of you who don't have to run off to another workshop, we invite you to stay around and join us for... a bit of a beach party."

Under the tables that had held basket-weaving supplies, there were an array of baskets and coolers; from these, Lulu and Juli pulled moddable drinks and snacks. "Enjoy the water," Juli said, as she turned on a portable stereo, music playing across the beach. "We both hope you've had some fun in the workshop with us. And that you have some fun now."

[OCD to come is up! The teaching partner modded with permission. Open beach is open! This isn't just for the class -- feel free to have a character wander by and join the party. :) ]</small

If you had the impression Romeo was doing a bit of clockwatching at the shop today, you would be right.

Oh, he did his work. Out of manic energy he swept the store, organized the racks of new fall clothes, even found time to straighten the magazines behind the counter and discard the ones that were too terribly out of date. But his brain was very much on his date that night, and he kept wishing the time when he could close up and leave would come just a little bit sooner.

Who knew a six month anniversary could give you butterflies in the stomach?

Pixie Dust was open.

[OOC: No OCD today, but feel free to shop pre-Dojima!]

G'Kar had spent a quiet weekend at home, not doing much of anything just reading and writing down some more thoughts. If anything of significance had occurred, he was completely unaware of it.

He did know however, that this was the final week of the summer courses and that the school would be taking a break the coming week. So he felt it appropriate to get a jump start on things.

Sale! 50% off all beach items and accessories! Make the most of your vacation and shop now!

With the journal in hand, he settled in behind the counter and waited for any customers to arrive.

Mary had the entire housekeeping staff lined up in the lobby for a quick meeting, which was more like a lecture. "Who has been taking care of the presidential suite this week?" she asked, clipboard in hand. "Just to give you an idea, there was a low of 70° F last night. That's really nice and warm, right? T-shirt and shorts weather. Yet for some reason when I got back to the Presidential Suite last night and crawled into bed, do you know what I found? Somebody had put a couple of fleece blankets on my bed. I had to get up in the middle of the night and take the extra blankets off because it was too hot! So, whoever did that? I don't want to see extra blankets until it gets cold!"

Mary wouldn't find extra blankets in her bed today. However, tonight she would find that someone had dumped her shampoo and re-filled with bottle with cooking oil.

[OCD free because I feel like it]

He hadn't put up the sign again, though he was considering having one made up at this point since the major cost of the spotlight had been nixed out by G'kar's generosity. After all, a theatre needed a sign. People had to know it was a theatre to come there. To try out. To, you know, pay the box office and see the show. It was important.

...maybe he'd try and see if he could find a stage manager soon. Perhaps during this production. He wan't going to rush it, though. He was sort of proud he'd pulled off one of them by himself, after all. And while the box office returns had been good and they'd managed not to go under or have to go look for outside funding, he wasn't about to splurge until he was certain he could. That said, the sign went up outside, scribbled on a piece of poster board just like before.

Alice was having a very nice day, thank you very much. She'd had a lovely date on the beach, and her big brother had been very sweet on radio. Hmmm. She'd have to talk to him, then. Reassure him that she was quite all right, but that he was perfectly welcome to be protective any time he liked. Such things were a big brother's prerogative.

For herself, she was going to skip to the end of her alphabetical study and select something from the Zs. It was more ... relaxed and meditative than her usual, but she found the open spaces nice to climb into. She approved.

Groovy Tunes was open.

Tink was having far too much fun at that bar-place with all of the absences lately. She even managed a happy, cheery wave to Tino -- who did not look thrilled to see her! The nerve! -- before plopping herself behind the bar and looking around excitedly for customers.

After all, who else was she supposed to abuse?

(OOC: pinch-hitting for Donut this evening! because Tink is evil and want to deny you booze. so again: lounge and tino-modding are your friends, if you seek liquor.)
