The fruit basket that they kept on the front desk was the focus of Viki’s rather scattered attention today. In between doing things that were actually defined by her job—setting the special, making sure that all the business was in order that she had to make sure was in order, and so on and so forth—she entertained herself by drawing little eyes on the fruit. And mouths. All open in perfect little ‘O’ shapes.

Little faces, really, and she made sure they were all facing up. Because, Viki thought, that was rather a bit creepy when viewed altogether.

Hurley was feeling in a rap mood today. Yeah, it was a bit louder than what he had been playing in the store before, but he still liked the stuff.

So, he grooved out as he restocked some CDs, before he stood behind the counter and waited for customers.

It was a testament to how fucking lazy Loki could be sometimes that he hadn't found this place before. Feeling cooped up in his apartment, he'd grabbed his jacket and started walking, having no destination in mind.

It was his shitty luck that he ended up standing right in fucking front of Mooby Land. It was one of the few things that could make him speechless and he was speechless for damn near five minutes. Of all the fucking things to follow him from the past, Mooby Land was the one he least wanted to do.

Robin was in a very good mood. His tribute to Beatrice was completed, and though he still felt very sad that she was gone, he did feel that wherever she was, she was pleased with him. Now if he could just figure out the best way to present the tribute.

For inspiration, he slipped a mix tape he'd made into the store's audio system. And as the songs of Debbie Harry, Cyndi Lauper, The Coors, The Cranberries, Alanis, Tori, Avril Lavigne, Pink, and yes, even Christina and Brittany filled the store, he began to dance as he cleaned and refreshed stock.

Fai didn't normally open on Saturdays, but he didn't trust Kurogane with the public at the moment. The ordinarily tetchy ninja was even more so, dealing with a hangover from the night before, so Fai had taken pity on both Kurogane and their customers.

Mokona, however, was nowhere to be found, and was likely still upstairs harrassing the hungover ninja.
