Chad might not have considered it a stretch at all if one were to say that his mood fit the title of the store. Groovy covered it. He was in a good, relaxed kind of mood, because his weekend?

Had been awesome.

So it was going to be a very awesome day at Groovy Tunes.

Today's Mix: Sex Blurred Weekend

Awww, yeaaaah.

Groovy Tunes is open.

Plenty of coffee? Check.

Remnants of an eventual lunch set out on her desk so Kowalski won't say she's working too hard and not eating and make her eat pizza again? Check.

Good weekend filed with plenty of things to think back on and getting her bum kicked in Twister (let's be honest.) to look forward to before she snaps and throws a billy club through a computer screen? Check!

Actual work to do? ...uhhh.

Everything that she could think of that could be done had, in fact, been finished already, so, by the time Monday rolled around, Daisy found that all she could see to do was check on a few futile leads, and then just sigh a lot and remind herself that, remember, this was her childhood dream and she loved it.

[[ open station! sleep calls until more proper and decent hours, though ]]

Lacey very happily put the red rose she'd gotten on Saturday into a slim crystal vase and set it up beside the cash register in a place of honor.

And then tied a ribbon around the vase.

And put the vase on a doily.

And sprinkled glitter confetti on the doily, then went about her cleaning-and-straightening routine. The staff, upon witnessing that little chain of events, was now fairly sure she was just trying to convince them she had friends, and had bought it for herself.

Much like someone across town, Teddy was still in an excellent mood over the weekend. So good that he was still humming some stupid song from the dance that was now just stuck in his head.

He might even attempt dancing next.

It was scary.

It was Monday, February was half-gone and the dance was over, so Romeo spent most of his shift rotating the stock. The formal dresses and suits went into the back of the store -- some to wait for Prom, others to be shipped back. Meanwhile, the cruisewear and spring clothes came out of their shipping cartons and became the main display.

Once that was done, Romeo settled at the counter with a pencil and notebook to review the workbook he was currently using to learn Japanese: Today's lesson was reading and drawing katakana. He was still far from fluent, but his grasp on the language got a little better every day, and he was proud of himself for that.

Pixie Dust was open

[OOC: Open store, no OCD.]

Triela was in a surprisingly good mood when she arrived at work Monday morning. She hurried through her opening chores and leaned back at her desk to relax. The weekend had been busy, and surprisingly nothing had gone terribly wrong.

After a few minutes of just sitting there she was antsy enough to want to find something to do, so it wasn't long before she had her pistol broken down on her desk while she cleaned it. Hopefully nothing would happen that required her to shoot anything for a bit...

It was just another day of work for Ender. Between flower deliveries and dances his weekend had been unusually full, and on Sunday he'd been happy to retreat into the relative calm of his room.

But now he was at work, the mouse-droid running around his feet. He play-tested the little mock-up he'd created: just a couple of things, like cooling systems and measuring equipment, just to start small.

It was pretty comfortable.

It had to be either Madrox or Robin. The flowers Cable had gotten, that was (well, except for Ino's). He spent one tiny fragment of his mind idly poking at which one of them it had been, but for the most part he ignored the whole thing.

He was a little busy with some correspondance with a few Believers down in Texas. He had always said these were critical times, and with the crisis... well.

All in all, Alex had a very good weekend. Opening up the Magic Box, she hummed as she went along, cleaning things and what not.

And she might have spent a good amount of her time practicing spells. Besides, one could never have too many cashmere sweaters.

The Magic Box is open!

Mina sat in the park, nursing what was left of her hangover and reading some letters from home.

Never again would she let Charlotte York challenge her to a 'race'.

She found the weather refreshing, however, which was why she was outdoors.

[ooc: Very open!]

Worf was spending the day inventorying everything in the store.

Granted nobody actually bought anything here but Worf was inventorying anyway because that's what you do in a store.

The Gig, Monday

[identity profile] shiniernyours.livejournal.com
There was a stack of metal remnants in one corner of the forge - handles, screws, broken ends of shears and hammers. Behind that pile was another, this one smaller, and moving and cursing more loudly than the first. Bender had been at the cheap non-alcoholic beer again.

"Argh, who turned on that sun so bright?" he complained as the sunlight crept over him, not halted by shouting or throwing the nearest heavy object within reach.

The Gig was open, and Bender was having a hair of the dog that hadn't bitten him enough the night before.
