It didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the island was a lot fucking quieter this week. The radio pointed to most of the school (and some of the adults) being away on some sort of cruise. Even Biff, that fucker. It was almost like cosmic payback for making Biff fail at video games.

Loki had thought about bringing the game system out to pass the time but decided he wasn't really in the mood. He'd tried reading but it was boring. He'd even tried working but that was more boring than reading. Deciding that, if everyone else got a Spring Break, he wanted one to, Loki decided to just relax.

He turned off the main lobby lights, leaving the Christmas moods light on and hopped up onto the desk. He flicked the radio onto some sort of smooth jazz station (boring in most situations but nice for relaxation) and tucked his jacket under his head to use as a pillow.

Feet crossed at the ankle, Loki twisted to one side and reached into a drawer to get out a blue rubber ball which he proceeded to start tossing up into the air and catching it as it came down. He was truly a talented man.

[MHA, she is open!]

Arya decided to take advantage of a quiet island, which probably wouldn't last very long. A walk in the woods was just the way to spend it.

As Arya walked beneath the trees, she wondered what she might find; how different this forest was in comparison to the ones of Ellesméra and Alagaësia. She had a feeling Saphira would enjoy these woods.

[Very much with the open!]

Pepper honestly didn't think that much of anyone would need the services of the shop, what with most of the island out of town, including both Tony and Lindsay.

That, however, was ideal for her. And that was why she spent the morning painstakingly rearranging the front and alphabetizing it all, before anyone (like the girl with the poor grammar who worked Fridays) could mess it all up again.

Mary was happy. More than just happy. She was ecstatic. She had a goofy grin on her face and she was even smiling at Gunther. It was a huge difference from a week ago.

Snarf had managed to escape after being locked up by Lion-o. And even if the silly boy was gone for the week, Snarf dutifully showed up at Cafe Fina. Someone had to make sure the boy kept his job.

He mainly stuck to the kitchen, though, as the pepper shaker and cheese grater tried to avoid Snarf. They'd already gotten an earful from him.

Today's Special
Tropical Bread Pudding With Rum Sauce

[Open! Mod your service today since Lion-o's not here.]

Marion had no problem with taking over an extra shift at Caritas. She had to bring Mutt along with her since there was a lack of babysitters in town but for some reason he seemed to like hanging around bars.

Like mother, like son.
