Sam hadn't gotten any annoyed voicemails or texts or whatever, so he figured Mr. Stark couldn't be too annoyed he'd sort of...skipped out on work last week. Maybe he figured Sam had been a little kid like apparently everybody else. Sam wasn't going to be the one to disabuse him of that notion.

Anyway, since Mr. Stark was apparently incapable of buying his own food, Sam was sure to bring groceries this week, light on the nutrition. That should keep him happy, and Sam could catch a nap. The nap should keep Mr. Stark happy, too. It meant Sam wasn't breaking anything.

The Preserve, Late Sunday Afternoon

Arthur had been looking forward to this all week. It would be the first time he'd get to hunt anything around here with someone who knew what they were doing.

The girl was convinced she was a wolf.

"At least now you're borderline useful," he told the bird, as he waited by the clearing he and Lady Blysse had handwavily agreed on.

Baseball season started two weeks from today, so Ben made sure to set up a rack with vintage jerseys. He was wearing a '69 Tom Seaver Mets jersey today both because he was a Mets dork and because it was a good advertisement for the other jerseys. And for the upcoming baseball season, too, even though nobody really needed to be reminded of that. Everyone loved baseball, right?

Apu was manning the store today, as G'Kar hadn't made it in yet.

Kind of odd for him not to show, but perhaps he was doing some religious ritual thing.

Apu went about his usual routine, cleaning and organizing the aisles then went to man the counter in case any customers came by.

Tino was angry. Jolee was beating him in the NCAA pool. The ZOMBIES were beating him in the NCAA pool. He was tanking, hard, and even accused Jolee of using the Force to influence the games.

"The Force doesn't work that way at all," Jolee explained. "However, it may have guided you to make your picks because you need to learn that gambling has consequences. Something to think about."

Instead, Tino thought about how bad Wake Forest screwed him.

Onsen, Sunday evening

Jaina had given herself from Thursday to Sunday to just consider herself on vacation and try to regenerate before turning her comm back on and trying not to regress to her former stressed-out state. Of course it was ending right about the time she was finally getting used to doing nothing. And going with John to the onsen because there was no possible way to not relax there also totally counted as nothing.

"It seems like I was last here years ago," she admitted once she saw it again.

The York Gallery; Sunday [ 03/22] -- Exhibit Opening! 8;00 onward.

It wasn't the typical opening for the York Gallery, not only in that it was an opening on a Sunday instead of the old Wednesday. It was also an exhibit that featured a great variety of artists, and Charlotte was very excited for it. Well, that last part wasn't rare, but she got everything from the snacks to the presentation set up. She hoped for a good night, but expected it to be relatively quiet.

The Give Less Fruitcake, Buy More Art exhibit was open!

Coyote Medicine, Monday

Tony decided to rearrange the figurines today. In theory, this was a way to add a couple of newly arrived pieces to the display without making it look overcrowded. In practice, this was Tony setting up scenes from King of the Bracelets. Kokopelli was perfect for Smirnoff the Beige, wizard and mentor to our heroes.
