The last time Ben was at Three Minute Dates, he was one of the daters. Now he was the host. He was pretty sure this counted as a promotion somehow.

When the event was just about ready to start, Ben took the stage. "Okay, everyone! Let's go over the rules quickly. We'll start in a minute when I read a pair of names. That pair finds each other, makes with the chit chat, and then after three minutes you'll hear this sound."

A zombie hit a gong. With his head. Whatever works... "And when you hear that, we'll move onto the next round and I'll read more names. We'll do this five times and then we'll be done. Oh, and don't forget, violence isn't allowed here but drink throwing is both possible and hilarious."

Ned was no longer a girl. He was glad of that for the sheer fact that he didn't want the kitchen staff to spend their day teasing him but he was unhappy about that for...a few other reasons. Still, he knew how to work and bake and do things in this body so, with a glare to the staff to keep questions to themselves, he went to work.

Surprisingly, Veronica did not have a hangover from the Elven wine last night.

Lack of hangover did not mean she didn't need coffee though. And a brownie. Because, mmmm chocolate.

She settled in to a table at the Perk with her treats and realized that next week at this time, she would be back in LA.

Jess got everything set out so he could open the bookstore, and settled in by the register like every other weekend. But instead of reading a book like he usually did, he was trying to discreetly flip through a catalog of community college courses. It was crazy to think that he was considering more school as a valid option for his time in the future, but at least he was being crazy where no one would probably catch him.

If Nate came down the stairs slightly late on Saturday morning, he really couldn't be held accounted for it. But he had a business to (pretend to) run, some paperwork to sort through, and a curiously errant lacking employee that kind of pinged at the back of his mind.

He made it down with Jan and dog trailing behind him, sat down behind his computer, and ran a few queries across his employee data file.

It was a day.

With the dates all done in 20 minutes, there was still plenty of time for the regular patrons to come in and get something to drink.

Ben was behind the bar, ready to serve anyone who needed a drink because of good dates, bad dates, no dates, or reasons completely unrelated to dates.

[OOC: Posted a bit later than I had intended because there was a phone call involving discussions of wedding dress shopping. Between me - a guy - and a male friend. That was a little weird.]

Robin was flipping through a magazine, getting more and more excited about all the movies that were being talked about at Comic Con.

Though he did think that Vampires were getting just a little over played.

The Lightouse - Saturday

Yesterday did not happen. That was Murdock's excuse and he was sticking with it. Not that he didn't enjoy the female figure, he just preferred it on females who were normally female. At least this one didn't come with a hangover like the last time.

The lighthouse was just about done. Hard to believe. But that was a good thing. Less work for one person to keep up with.

He still had to speak to Tully at some point. Even if he wasn't looking forward to it.

In the meantime, he busied himself with touch-up work.

The island certainly knew how to make things livelier. Changing males to females was certainly an experienced, particularly in the face of not only one but two Ghanimas.

Her mind turned to her shop and her plans for it, Irulan was almost ready to unveil the Tin Hats line for next week. Although she had set aside tonight since Leto asked her to meet in Caritas later tonight.

Together with another selection of Dame Agatha Christie's book tucked under her arm, Irulan unlocked the door.
