Luke's Diner, October 12 (Monday)
Monday, October 12th, 2009 04:53 amLacey was sure it would be a quiet day today with most of the students and faculty off on a trip, but she refused to let that dampen her spirits (any more than it inevitably would, at least). Despite the busboy's mutterings of confusion and subsequent thwappings from the dishwasher (But it was the wrong month for that! No, Lacey had explained this last year too, wasn't he paying attention? Yes, but some people kept hitting him and it knocked the memories out of his head. Oh, whatever.) the diner was decorated with a harvest festival theme, complete with pumpkins and the occasional tastefully arranged decorative straw bale.
There was, in fact, turkey and three different kinds of stuffing, several kinds of mashed or creamed vegetables, soups, salads, and enough variety of baked goods to make the cook worry that someone from J,GoB was going to come over and throw down with them.
Luke's is open, and Lacey'll be over there enjoying some of that herself.
[OOC: And OCD-free today. If I made you hungry . . . I made me hungry, too.]
