Didi came into work today to find that Apu had already taken down the Halloween decorations ... and started replacing them with tinsel, Santa Clauses, and snowflakes. Bing Crosby was on the stereo.

"The leaves aren't even off the trees!" she argued. "Thanksgiving is weeks away!"

He shrugged and kept hanging evergreen garlands.

Deciding she had to join that which she could not beat, Didi put on a set of reindeer antlers and plopped behind the counter with a celebrity gossip magazine.

Yei had decided that today she was going to get in the way as much as possible and by the time that Hinata managed to get the store opened she was feeling slightly frazzled at having had to shoo her cat out of the way constantly.

Of course, that would be when Yei promptly curled up and went to sleep in Hinata’s chair. Sighing at that, she was being pushed around by a feline, Hinata went to browse the stacks for a new book to start.

Groovy Tunes, Tuesday

Jono was feeling pretty darn mellow today as he headed into Groovy Tunes for his shift. He hadn't headed straight to the CD player today, no. In fact, today he'd brought his guitar in, and his amp, and whatever else he could think of to haul along. He was going to make his own music today, between customers. Or for customers. Or whatever struck him as a good idea at the time.

Today was a Blues day. Not because of any emo, surprisingly. No, today was a Blues day because the blues were made for reflecting to.

Covent Garden Flowers, Tuesday

Ino was in a good mood, still giggly over yesterday, as she wandered around fussing with the plants in the shop and thinking about everything that she had on the go.

Music played loud enough to be heard all through the store and at times she could totally be found singing along to it. What? The plants enjoyed it!

It was a partially sleepy Ellie who arrived at the stable today, so it was probably a good thing she stopped for caffeine on the way over. Like always, she did not share it with the horses. She did let them out into the paddock, though, and gave them their usual snacks. They did not seem to have any complaints.

Nothing had exploded so far. So good!

Geoffrey was unharmed, the stage was unharmed (and unsyruped) so far. So good!

...Geoffrey was having a little trouble imagining exactly what he wanted to do with this play. Not so good.

It was the problem with the comedies. It might have been a problem with his life experience, or maybe just because he thought the tragedies had better material, but he'd never had a clear vision of what he wanted to do with the comedies. As it was, he was pretty much letting Harper come up with what she wanted for the costumes (within reason, of course) and the sets...

He really needed to discuss those with Tony sometime soon.

Either way, the doors were open, the muffins were set. On with the show.

Raven had had a very unpleasant couple of weeks and was plotting horrible vengeance upon her mun, but she dutifully arrived at the store to open it for the afternoon and evening. If anyone came in today, they would find her very quiet and meditative.

Oz could not believe it but there had actually been a delivery to the shop of Thanksgiving themed figurines. And they weren't even satirical. He packaged them right back up and sent them back with a note that said 'Really?'.

Then he set up the display of dvd's. The ones for sale included the '500 Nations' Documentary and a PBS Mystery series about two Native American detectives.

Robin sauntered in on her new night, and was mildly disappointed that it looked exactly the same as Sundays. And Thursdays, for that matter.

Right down to Tino, who dropped a glass when she came in and immediately went to find something else to do in the back. Robin supposed he hadn't been prepared for her level of general badassery and awesomeness tonight.
