Ghanima and Tyler were there early tonight as they waited for people to trail in.

"It's winter break, so you all get brownie points for showing up," Ghanima said cheerfully, Tyler nodding along in agreement. "But we're going to be lazy and let you all pick your own partners today."

"So pair up and hit the mats, or go to work on the punching bags."

[OOC: Tyler lovingly modded w/ permissions. The RNG got lost in that snowpocalypse out east, but the OCD is on its way made it safely! Post is open!]

The Gig, Sunday

The horses were not going outside today. This was, quite frankly, fine with Firekeeper and Blind Seer. The pair was content to lay sprawled on a stack of hay bales in the barn, listening to the horses gossip about Christmas presents.

Considering their wish lists consisted of apples, lumps of sugar, and carrots, Firekeeper wasn't quite certain what made the fact that these were 'Christmas presents' all that special, but given her own understanding of the holiday was limited, she wasn't going to argue.

[ooc: the ocd? late for work. as am i, actually. **runs awaaaay**]

Zack was at work, swaying on his heels, grinning his head off, and waiting.

It was entirely possible that he'd gotten the hang of this 'kid on Christmas morning' thing a little early. Or it was possible that he was looking forward to his break a little too much, or maybe, judging by the sword and the bag containing a change of uniform and some spare armor that he'd stowed away in the corner, he was planning on fleeing for a good chunk of the break right after his shift.

... Yeah. That one.

Today's Specials:

Free Apple Pie With Every Meal!

Swaying, grinning, and then occasionally breaking into a squat or twelve, it was entirely possible that Zack-the-puppy wasn't going to be getting much work done today at all.

[Open and OCD-freeeee. And visitors for Zack will come before Ino, chronologically, as Zack's taking off halfway through the day. Mod your dishes afterward!]

There was way too much snow on the ground for Max to feel too excited about the day. It wasn't as bad as where he'd grown up, though, so he'd deal with it. And, besides, a massive stack of pastries made up for a lot of aggravation. And since he'd handwavily arranged to meet a student this morning, well...

There was a single neatly frosted cupcake on the table across from him.

[Open, of course, if anyone's out in the weather.]

Ah, the joys of shoveling snow. How much had he not missed this? And now instead of just shoveling a path from his front door to a snowmobile, or to Mr. Twain's barn, both of which were not far away, he had to clear off his porch. And shovel a path to the tower door. And to the work shed. And then down to the road.

At least there was less snow than there usually was in Wyoming.

[Open! Come distract Tully from his work!]

The flamingos were swooping. Soaring. Sliding. Skating. You'd think they'd never heard of Florida.

Dinah had her skates on. And was wobbling, wavering, and whoa'ing.

[post is open to all who want to skate!]

Kyle was on a very important case. It was the Case of Trying To Fight Off a Cold. You'd figure his Force powers would help him kick it, but no. The stupid thing kept sticking around and he kept sneezing.

Stupid cold.

[OOC: No OCD.]

Getting dragged into a bar late in the evening on a Sunday was just plain weird. Okay, not Wall of Weird weird, but still not normal.

It seemed Caritas was out a bartender and Clark was the first person dumb enough to respond to Tino's plea for assistance. Poor Clark, he'd learn soon enough that Tino just didn't want to do the work.

Caritas was open!

Lacey had felt Inspired this morning. Yes, with a capital I. It was that kind of inspiration -- sorry, Inspiration.

. . . to write poetry about Farmville.

Yes.

Needless to say, the staff was cutting her a very wide berth, the better to snicker at her out of earshot.

Today's Specials
Tamari and Honey-Glazed Scallops
Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato Sandwich
Sugar Cookies

Luke's is open, and no. No, that really isn't great art in the process of being created. No matter what Lacey might try to tell you.
