For once, being a goddess on Fandom was a good thing.

Aphrodite had spent an hour the previous night ridding her apartment of the strange and irritating bugs, but had finally succeeded in putting up blocks to keep them out. She'd had a peaceful night, which was immediately broken when she opened the door to walk to the store. 'Dite had gotten halfway out of the building and said screw it; she'd zapped herself to the store.

Again, she'd spent time bug proofing the store -- it wasn't easy, and if she missed a tiny hole there was always a bug that would slip through, but after two hours she finally had a quiet store, a cat that wasn't chasing the little critters, and a smile.

Grabbing her calendar, she sat down to figure out when the best time was to do all everything on her list.

1, dinner with Karla and Dinah before Dinah leaves.

Simple.

2, go to Olympus and close temple.

Not so simple, but she could do that probably this weekend.

3, teach Dinah to air board.

That was the one that was going to get her in trouble, 'Dite just knew it.

Decadent Delights is open, and bug free!

(OOC: Up early so I don't forget. Post is open, I'll be around the first half of the day, then on SP for a few hours.)

Shunsui had been mostly napping at the counter when the radio crackled and in came an announcement. He cracked open one eye, tuning in his ear to listen mostly because the speaker was female with an amazing voice to boot, but once he heard what the announcement was about, he began to smile.

"Ahhhhh ♥," he sighed, happily, contentedly. "That is good to know ♥!"

Here he thought the bugs invading his bachelor pad was purely the result of the fact that it hadn't been cleaned since he moved in. How refreshing to learn that he didn't have to get to cleaning it any time soon after all!

It would call for celebration with some more sake, but he was too comfortable to get some right now.

Jane woke up in her studio. In the store.

Okay, maybe she did miss her mansion now.

But since she was already there, she decided to simply get down to business and play it cool. Maybe shoot something later. Maybe shoot something bug-like later that day. It was tempting, and enough to cheer her up a little. Now all she needed was to find a way to get coffee sent to the store.

Where were her assistants? Maybe she needed to start considering hiring new ones already.

Strokes of Genius is open.

Lindsay was a little wary as she headed to the store today. She was on her way there last week when she was practically chased into a crack in the universe by a creepy mutated woman, and then dropped into a world with more creepy mutated people. She was a little more on guard this time. And a bit jumpy. That whole experience freaked her out more than she cared to admit. A trip home was likely in her very near future. She needed it.

For now, she set up a football display. It was preseason after all.

Atlas Gym | Thursday

Even if the sofa in the manager's office wasn't entirely comfortable, the blissful silence in the room had been welcome after the constant music plaguing Dimitri's apartment. He cracked his back and headed out into the gym for his workout only to find Jessi faceplanted on a pile of mats, looking something like the princess who slept on the pea.

Seeing as she was breathing, drooling, and seeming almost...peaceful in a strangely boneless way, Dimitri draped a couple towels over her before moving on to the weight machines. It was potentially too kind of a gesture, but he figured he could always blame it on someone else if Jessi tried to make it weird.

For once, Dimitri skipped turning on the overhead music, allowing the quiet sounds of weights swishing and connecting to echo through the main room.

Helen was at The Gig today and very glad to see that the horses were all well after the events of the weekend. However, she wasn't in the best of moods after listening to radio last night - not that she had any right to be bothered - and would be very difficult, if not impossible, to find should someone other than her boss come looking for her here.

Millie and Proudfoot had fled downstairs to the store to get away from the most annoying bugs. For some reason she could keep them out of the store, but all her magic could not seem to remove them from her living space upstairs. This made for one very unhappy ex-goddess.

When she heard the radio announcement, she heaved a sigh of relief, magically packed the necessities and zipped her bag downstairs so that she could head over to the cabins as soon as she closed the store.

Castiel was in fine form for his sermon, today. He was clear without verging into TMI. His words were meaningful and deep, and for once, not entirely outside the realm of what one might expect to hear in a mainstream religious service.

This was probably because he'd downloaded said sermon off the internet.

Not that it really mattered in any case, as his sermon was actually entirely inaudible over the shrieking of "MY HEART WILL GO ON!" as the stolp bugs were methodically hunted down and eaten by ferocious, rambunctious kittens.

If someone pointed out the bugs' endangered status, Castiel would mildly point out that the kittens were only acting on their basic instincts, and that they certainly could not be blamed for such things. Also, hunting bugs kept them from trying to pounce his wings, and at the moment, those were just as endangered as any species of insect.

Francine spent a few moments when she arrived just standing in the doorway. The place looked at it had before she'd disappeared last week, the counter and specials board intact -- it even smelled the same, which was a little disconcerting.

Turns out that was because they'd repeated the same specials, in honor of Francine's day at work getting ruined the last time. She refrained from telling the kitchen staff that the idea was sweet but the flashbacks were kind of freaking her the crap out, when she realized that also meant the Nanaimo Bars were back.

This time she didn't disappear when she reached for one.

Or two.

Or three.

Specials
Beef brisket
Double-baked cheesy potatoes
Buttered carrots

It was Wallace's first day at work, and he could already tell this would be the easiest job he's ever had. He could drink all he wanted, Tino was fun to hit on, and the band was way better than Sex Bob-Omb. Even if he couldn't understand a damn thing they were singing.

It was a pretty sweet deal.
