Ariel was so excited to come into the shop today and see what fashions may have arrived while she was on vacation that she didn't even notice that a wee little gremlin had slipped inside with her. She was checking out some new pink dress when she let out a gasp of shock as something dug into her ankle, her very first gremlin bite, but, after that, there wasn't anything, so she just scrunched up her nose at what she was holding, put it down, and drifted over to where the sunglasses were. She found the cheapest pair she could, popped out the lenses, and then put them on her face.

With a big heavy sigh, shaking her head at everything around her. "I'd rather be thrifting," she muttered as she went to sulk behind the counter until she got distracted by the skinny jeans.

She loved skinny jeans.

And then a customer came in when she was brushing her hair, giving her an odd look, which Ariel was quick to return. "It's a dinglehopper...nevermind, you've probably never heard of it..."

George was not in Hawaii. George was in Fandom. George was at work.

She had considered setting up some kind of tropical display or whatever, but that sounded like effort. Easier to sit behind the counter and glare at things and hope she could make the clock move faster just by hating it enough.

Mary was trying to ignore Gunther and his ranting, but he just kept getting louder as he kept going. It didn't make any sense to Mary that Gunther was complaining about his own food this time. After all, he did all the food shopping and almost all the cooking. Apparently the only thing he left for his sous chef was dirty dishes.

Finally, Mary suggested to Gunther that if he was in over his head, she could call Wolfgang Puck to see if he could help out for a little while now that the Oscars were over. Or maybe Wolfgang could recommend a new head chef so Gunther didn't have to work so hard. Gunther not only stopped complaining, but he went straight back to the kitchen to prove that he didn't need any help from a so-called celebrity chef.

Chrono had noticed that there were a few cushions on a few pews that were in need of some new upholstery, so guess who had a project to keep him busy this Tuesday.

He sighed, taking up his needle and thread, and thought to himself: so this is eternity.

But it still beat nothingness.

When Robin came into Caritas muttering under her breath and clearly irritated, Tino didn't really take notice. That was pretty much business as usual.

He did notice when she didn't emerge for awhile, and when he went back there, he earned a thrown cup and a "I'm checking inventory, jackass!"

Clearly he'd be working alone tonight.
